2010.05.29 ~ Tommy and Lindsy video ~ Early April

Whooops! there it is!

(I'm not listening...was spoken as an insult or a realization?)

Was spoken as a matter of fact IMO. A little of both.

Regarding Lindsy's use of the word "incestuous"-- it made me wonder if she got the term mixed up with "insular," which makes (hopefully) more sense.

Idk, I just don't get the idea she'd put up with that kind of family contact. Holy heck!!

I think Lyndsay's come to some harsh realizations about life in the past few months and is maybe seeing things more clearly.

Maybe Linsdey is buying the "he messed with me" story? I honestly don't think Tommy understood the word "incestuous". NO reaction...AT ALL.

Misty made the (messed with) statement before they were encarcerated, so for sure Lindsy would have questioned her husband about it (maybe even Misty too). Even the hint of incest would be a major deal in a marriage. But as he lies about everything, she may have believed him that there was no merit to it, but now she is questioning everything he says.

I really hope this isn't true - but Lindsy brought it up, so it must have been on her mind.

While I think Lyndsy is the best of the bunch, that is still relative. She is talkng about things in front of a child that no child should hear and she should know better as she, at least, does not seem to have had the upbringing that has made the others who they are today. But if she doesn't make a clean and total break from all of the ,her kids are likely to be raised just like the others...always hungry, always scrambling for food, money, gas, transportation, etc...it is a cycle and only she can break it.

Anyone know what, Tommy means when he was talking about,Timmy and says "they tried me just like they tried him..."?

  • #66
PS- I, too, doubt that Tommy had any idea what that big word Lyndsy used to describe the Croslin family dynamics means...thus no reaction.

After seeing the first video and listening to the second recording…
I think the recording was first …. and then it seems to me that
somehow between the two someone talked to Lindsay about the lie detector
test.

She seems okay with Tommy in the recording but by the time she is on the
video she is pissed!

CBM. He borrowed money from her that he hadn't paid back. He kept telling her he would pay her by (insert date), but couldn't for whatever reason..

Wow.

And she was dumb enough to lend it to him.

Just . . . wow.

It's astonishing to me that both Hank and Lindsy have griped to the point of envying the incarcerated for their ease of existence! How about NOT spending money on gas and minutes? Write a letter and back the media off at the same time, and, of course, the huge bonus of keeping the children away from the jailhouse.

...and Lindsy, if you read here-- get the dog a decent home and buy your children another round of meals, please!

Incestuous: Unhealthily intimate or interconnected, especially so as to exclude the involvement of influence of others.

While most of us might be tempted to rush to judgment here, this is another definition of the word beyond a sexual relationship among relatives. I don't know for sure what Lindsy intended with her comment, but it's possible that she might have been referring to a more figurative closeness of the Croslins.

Another take on it but I think the common usage is what it means in the woods they live in. And yes, even though I married her she is still (by law) in WV, my cousin.

Yeah I think she was throwing it at him to hurt him, and was referring to his habit (and this particular case) of running around getting high and partying with his baby sister, rather than staying home at night with his wife and child and being a responsible parent and husband.

Havent listen or watched all of this yet, but I do have to say she handled it alot better then I would have, I would have had a sailor's mouth and then I would have left never to talk to him again......

Respectfully, Quiche - I believe she used the word she intended to. To me, this is the most enlightening information that has been revealed to date. An even uglier picture is developing, IMO.

We've seen Tommy lie, steal, do/deal drugs, and on and on and on. Lindsy didn't seem to hardly blink an eye - but, "something" was revealed in the LDT about the night Haleigh disappeared that has shaken her to her core. I do believe it may have had to do with inappropriate behavior between family members.

As always, MOO

bold by me.....I couldn't agree more!!

This is what they have been hiding in my opinion, and this is what they didn't want to get out, more importantly this is the reason for all the lies, fairy-tale's and blame game tactics. It all makes perfect sense when you think about it.

Haleigh saw something that she never ever should have seen in my opinion, and Junior heard the bouncing on the couch. Timmy and Joe went to help. Sheesh, maybe Joe wasn't involved at all, maybe they decided to blame him from the beginning and that is why Chelsea said Joe took the van, when it was really Timmy who took the van all along.

JMO, but I highly doubt that Lyndsy used the word incestuous to her husband in that regard. She knows what his capabilities are and I doubt he had a Websters dictionary present to define what other way she meant for him to take the word.

Tommy could have said how dare you, or commented in some way to redeem himself( which he certainly knows how to do) but chose not too, in my opinion he knew nothing he could say would help.

While what you are saying could be true, how would this have killed Haleigh? These people are giving me a huge headache.

I've heard the incest theory before, so I do believe Lindsy said exactly what she meant. I just can't figure out how that could kill the child. "Let's kill her to keep her quiet" just doesn't ring true. :banghead:

I could believe it if she saw, Misty and Tommy together and started crying saying that she was going to tell daddy. Tommy or Misty could have covered her mouth tight enough to smoother her. Then the panic, set in and the disposal took place

I began to think, Tommy had nothing to do with Haleigh's death, now I am thinking he may have.

Why does she take that child there? That is horrible why should he have to see his dad in jail. These kids will be another generation of messed up children. Yes the dog comment was terrible. Why not take the dog to the pound? She obviously dosen't have the money nor the time to take care of the poor thing. She is just as bad as the rest of the dysfunctional bunch. The poor dog can't help it. What is wrong with these people? And another thing if she is so broke she needs to get a JOB like the rest of us do. I wouldn't have any gas money or food money or dog food money if I didn't get up every morning and go to work. These people make me so mad its like they think the world owes them something...
