Did you have Memorial Day off as well?? It's a holiday. Just because JA works for the state doesn't mean he doesn't get the same holidays off as the rest of the country.

I have no problem with the SA taking State $$$ to put away dangerous criminals. I think many have a problem with someone who could have paid for their defense if they had spent their money more wisely.

Baez really gets on my nerves. He misstates, it's like he doesn't comprehend what the judge is saying to him, and it is so tiring to hear him plead motions for evidence where it turns out the evidence has been available for quite some time, he just hasn't gone to get it.

This motion he is arguing right now, I've heard it before, and to my knowledge, nothing has changed, this is still not 'discoverable' material. Sigh. :banghead::banghead:

The State has to follow rules too, it's not one sided at all.
Besides, the State is doing a duty for the citizens of FL by keeping baby killers off the streets.

He should be...if he can't figure out how to pick up the phone and ask the right people for the dang notes, or if he can't have a case without freaking bench notes, then he has already lost this case. Sheesh!

Uh huh. She'll be "falling" every hearing now. And when that stops working, she'll throw violent fits and get hurt that way.

Think about it. By falling, she:

* Doesn't have to attend the hearing. We know she doesn't want to.

* Will probably be moved to the medical wing, where conditions are better.

It's a win / win. Betcha we're gonna see Clumsy Casey at every hearing.
