2010.06.15 JVM - Alleged Rug Fibers from Trunk of George's Car

I am not sure if this has been ever been discussed about a possible rug re: black wool threads, but what about the car's rugs that are removable usually found in front of the driver and passenger seats.

This is my opinion and my opinion only....I honestly believe there were other items found prior to Caylee being found and I believe these items have connections to this case.

Jay Blanchard Park was searched over and over and over again, by probably close to 100 people, at a number of different times. Volunteers were not just sent out there one time and that was it. The same goes for the area near the A's house, where Caylee was ultimately found. If you go back during the searches, read some of the articles, and threads you will see people refer to the areas called "the woods behind the A's house, the street by the school, etc". During the entire search time the areas changed dramatically. It became either dryer, or wetter, more overgrow grew in and the critter babies started feeding themselves.

As a person that participated in the search, on one day we were sent to 3 different areas. We ultimately covered JBP along with 5 other teams, thats 50 people in one day! We went to Lake Conway and we went out by the airport. After we were done, my friend and I went by the A's home to just see it, we drove around, we went by the school. When we stopped at the A's house to get a feel for the constant hum of the tv trucks, etc a gal from another search group came over and we talked. I told her we didn't really even find anything worth tagging. She seemed to have more luck, in fact she was so lucky that once their tagged items were reviewed by supervisors and police their entire group was told to IMMEDIATELY LEAVE and do not return. This was in September. What they found was a balloon, and a card, and fabric. That was all she told me. She was clearly shook up. Her assigned area: the woods behind the A's house, near the school.


It would not surprise me to know that certain fibers were found in cars driven by different members of the A family. Covering up and getting rid of stuff was the most important thing on their minds once they found KC.

OME, Thank you for your personal account and your efforts to help find Caylee. This sounds like the guy that found the balloon near the school (IIRC). I am of the mind that the A's were being watched so closely by police, media and protesters that it would be very difficult to locate items and them dispose of them in front of all of the spectators. It was when they found kc that they also reported missing for 31 days - everyone was in shock and outraged. Since we are talking about GA's trunk - does anyone know what car GA drove? The only thing I remember coming from GA's trunk was the gun that LE confiscated, but I don't even remember how that came to light. Who and when did they check fibers in GA's trunk? Did they also check CA's vehicle?

BBM, George drives a black Chevy HHR. I remember seeing it many a times driving though Orlando with that trailer type billboard thing that they had in the beginning.

I remember reading in the past that she had stolen George's car around the same time Caylee was missing, then returned it. Maybe she had fibers on her that transferred onto Caylee from Georges car?, or she had Caylee in the car for a couple hours. Remember George followed her to see where she was going? :waitasec:

IIRC, I believe that supposedly it was CA's vehicle that KC took, and GA jumped in his vehicle and pursued her, but lost her.

Maybe I'm confused about the facts, but I was under the impression, or perhaps I just assumed, that the stolen car was just a rouse to LE about the Pontiac that KC drove. CA reported the Pontiac stolen to get LE involved....the pursuit of KC by GA I thought was when KC was supposedly out of town with Zanni in Tampa....he followed her in his car, but she was in the Pontiac......the reference to the "rug" fiber from "GA's" car I assumed meant a black fiber from the Pontiac, which is registered to GA...

Please straighten me out if I am under the wrong impression here.....it's the only way the statements on JVM make any sense to me......of course the term "rug" is still puzzling, unless, as previously posted, the reference is to the removable rugs from a car, or simply fibers from the car were found and the reference to Caylee being wrapped in the rug was incorrect....

geez, it's JVM, and now I'm racking my brain as if there is any credibility to the report....yikes!

As I remember LE took what I call a throw rug from a doorway.It wasnt black,I think it was a shade of green and white.I'm trying to find it, its in doc drop,but I know its not black.Someone has their wires crossed.:innocent:

A seafoam and cream rug taken from the porch on Dec 11 2008. I think they took it because it had a stain on it. It is listed in the discovery documents that were released on Feb 18 2009. The written page number is 3737 and the rug was given the evidence number Q209.
I don't know where I got the pdf document, sorry.

I am snipping this from mom2chloe, maybe the fibers are from Cindy's sweaters. Or maybe Cindy knows something about the fibers and used her sweaters as an excuse? :waitasec: I find it odd that the blanket was stored, because I thought early on it was said to of been one of the items missing if my memory serves me right. Either way, I find what this person on JVM said to be of interest.

FWIW, i spent the day rereading CA's state deposition transcripts and she states that the Winnie the Pooh blanket that was found with the remains was stored in the guest bedroom, in one of 3 dresser drawers that were designated for Caylee's things. She goes on to state that the other 3 drawers of that same dresser held CA's, in her words, "winter sweaters". Given the fact that we have all been scratching our heads looking for where in the heck the black wool fibers came from, i thought this little tid bit might interest some. IMHO, it is reasonable to think that any woman originating from Ohio might own a black wool sweater. The fact that she herself refers to it as a winter sweater indicates to me that it would be wool or a wool blend, which supports the notion that the A's do indeed still have wool a/k/a winter items saved from their days in Ohio. Thoughts anyone?
