2010.06.18 Questionnaire -Students, parents asked about Kyron again

  • #81
It's interesting to me that they ask if you saw Kyron, what time? who was he with? where was he?, but if you saw Terri, they don't ask what time, who she was with, or where she was.

Why would they not want to know "I saw Terri at 8:50. She was alone. She was getting in her vehicle in the (whichever) parking lot, and then I saw her drive away."

or "I saw Terri at 9:00. She was with Kyron. She was holding a rag over his nose and mouth, and after he appeared to pass out, she dragged him into the restroom on the first floor."

or "I saw Terri at 9am. She was alone until she walked outside to the parking lot. A guy in a blue Camaro was waiting there. She got in the car and they drove away."

Interesting. Any thoughts on why the time for Terri isn't being asked?

Maybe to further corraborate or disprove things she has told them about her whereabouts for the day?

That is interesting. I wonder if they plan to establish a list of all the "yes, I saw Terri" responses and interview those people again. Maybe they don't want written accounts of time, location, etc where Terri was seen because they are worried some student's recollections would be estimations but the written responses on the form would not be carefully worded to make that clear.

I am disappointed that they are just now asking these questions, especially of the children. I'm sure all of us who are parents know that young children's memories aren't the best when it comes to specifics.

So,if the truck could have been left at the school, people would have seen it at any time that day.And by showing her pic,if she left with someone else, they could get a description of who she left with.Plus if there were cellphone pings at the Island, just saying,I'm hoping he was passed off to someone to be hidden. Please let it be,actually this is giving me more hope since they've not found him on that island.

Seems like this should have been sent out June 5th.

It scares me to think it took them 14 days to realize she is a possible suspect? Really?

They have a lot of experienced local LE involved, FBI kidnap specialists and FBI behavioral analysis types, too, or so it has been reported. I think they probably made a conscious decision to ask what they asked the way they asked it, as opposed to thinking they are just inartful. Of course, it's JMO. I get the feeling of time running out, too, by Sunday, but that could just be because I'm totally creeped out by this adorable little guy's vanishing as if we're watching Without a Trace. It's too sad -- yet another child.

Interesting developments today....is there any chance that they want to know if someone who was driving the truck FOLLOWED her to school that day or if the truck came to the school after she was seen leaving? If she was in the parking lot that day in whatever vehicle, I would think that someone noticed her and would have already told LE what vehicle she was driving. It will be good to hear a pc that MAYBE gets some answers to questions about whether sm is really a poi.

I have 9 year old and if she's slept since I told her something... she's forgotten it. I think they waited to long.

No, only that she drove it some time on 6/4.

They're asking students....that were at the school....not random people that may have seen her driving the truck that day. At least, seems that way to me.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Investigators trying to find missing Oregon boy Kyron Horman have released a flier asking the public if they saw the boy's stepmother near Skyline School on the day he vanished.
The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office also wants to know if anyone saw Terri Horman's white pickup at or near Skyline on June 4 - the day of the disappearance.

To make sure they receive EVERY sighting of Terri. Narrow down the time and then they might not receive the information they are looking for.

That's my guess.

That's interesting also, because if she drove the mustang...this leads to another whole line of something.

I'm almost there, but I still see too much grey area to be in total agreement.

I, too, am going to hold on to the innocent until proven guilty concept of our constitution for as long as I am able in this case.

If the father was home that day, and not at work, there is one more person to account for on the list. Plus, the uncle may have had some sort of access to the truck. We share use of a "family truck" that once belonged to my FIL with my husbands brother. My son, my 2 nephews, my BIL, my husband my SIL and I all have keys to the same truck. Maybe that isn't such a good idea any more!

I agree! My son is 7 and has no concept of time yet, he may be delayed in that areas, I don't know.. BUT.. I do know that things that happend last year, he will recall and speak of it as if it happend yesterday... things that happend yesterday, he sometimes speaks as if it happend a long long time ago. He is dyslexic, so maybe thats why... so not sure how other 7 yr olds are with time.

Sounds to me like they are trying to trip someone up. I used to do analysis of consumer behavior. It's amazing how many times you can ask the same question five times and get same answer - then the 6th time they give you a completely different answer. It is truly mindboggling. People aren't necessarily lying, either. Sometimes they are telling you what they think you need to know, of they are telling you what they think the answer should be, or they just say what sounds like "the right" answer.

But I wonder if this questionnaire is designed to flush out conspirators. If TH did this, I think she had to have help. I think if anyone at the school did it, they prolly had help.
