I think the Oregonian is guilty of going only to Carol Moulton and Terri's friend for info. I contacted the author with verifiable, documented proof of an error in her story, and she told me that she would have to verify my documented proof by talking to Carol. Go figure.

My opinion is that that article and the previous one in which Carol was interviewed is basically a hagiography. MOO.

This is what I remember, that she has been in his life since he was 3 days old, probably because she was friends with his mom, but she moved in later in his life.

I think it's a common sense thing.

You can't teach all day and support yourself if you're raising someone else's baby. There is a difference in "Terri babysat Kyron from infancy" and "Terri RAISED Kyron since infancy."

But here's what Carol Moulton said:

"Terri has raised Kyron," her mother said. "She's been with him since he was an infant. She's as much of a mom as the mom is because the parents had separated about the time that Kyron was born."

She doesn't say that Terri babysat Kyron. She says that she RAISED Kyron. How does one raise a baby if one does not live with said baby?

I thought from this article that Kyron was living with his bio mother for the first two years until she became sick. Two years is alot of bonding time between a mother and child. But which of these stories are true then?

Did TMH have to get Kyron to bond to her to keep her new thing going with her friend's ex? Did she feel a true bond with Kyron? I do hope we hear more about the good reputation of the Step Mom. I'm sure Kyron looks like a happy kid. Of course I'm asking myself all these questions...due to misinformation or no information there's no way to figure out what happened to a precious little boy, Kyron.

What about the men? Why all this tearing apart of what 'kind' of women they are/were? What about the men involved with them? That chose them? And, why are they not being accused of anything? As far as I know, neither man has given any alibi at all.

About the men? Tony Young was in Medford when Kyron disappeared. Kaine wasn't featured on the questionnaire, and wasn't the last person named by Police to see Kyron.

Desiree Young was in Medford when Kyron disappeared.

If Terri and Kaine's relationship began before Desiree gave birth to Kyron, then I hold him to the same moral standard that I hold Terri.

No one is dissing these women because of their gender. I may be a lot of things, but a misogynist I am not. The fact is that Terri Horman was the last person to see Kyron, that police are obviously focusing their investigation on her as the release of the questionnaire demonstrates, and her relationship with Kyron AND Kaine needs to be examined. Her gender is of no importance to me.

I think Carol Moulton makes it pretty clear in her statement. She was in Kyron's life from early on because she was together with his father when Kyron was a baby. If the other article is somewhat true they didn't officially live together then and maybe they had Kyron just for weekend visits (or whatever schedule) until 2004 but it would make Terri part of his life anyway.
She doesn't say that Terri is as much of a mom as the mom is because she helped the mom with babycare but she says it's because the parents were separated and Terri was with Kaine.

That's the only way I can make all the three statements make sense.

So...timeline time:

2002, 2003 - Kaine and Terri begin their relationship, according to Carol Moulton.

August 2002 - Desiree files for divorce.

September 2002 - June 2003 - Terri teaching full time at Mooberry.

September 2002 - Kyron born

February 2003 - Kaine and Desiree divorce

Sometime in 2004 - Desiree goes to Canada for medical reasons

Questions:

Why didn't Terri's contract renew at the end of hear teaching year at Mooberry in June 2003? Did she leave voluntarily to do something else? Was she fired?

How could Terri raise Kyron from the time he was 3 days old if Desiree had primary physical custody? Did Desiree have primary physical custody? Did she and Kaine share 50/50? If so, who took care of Kyron during Kaine's time?

So many questions, so few answers given in these articles.

Not that it matters. Kyron's missing, most likely deceased, and it appears that police are focusing their investigation on the person who saw him last.

Some of the red Mustang owner comments I saw a few days ago didn't describe me at ALL so don't be putting their lives in a box.

I think you all need to read this again. We don't make it up or make assumptions. That starts rumors. End of Debate for now. When someone comes out with a better timeline then we can talk about it. Until then lets move on with facts please.

I don't see how discussing when exactly Kaine and Terri got together is ripping up any gender more than another.

As far as I'm concerned they all deserve mad props if they were able to keep or to build a cooperative working relationship in order to take care of Kyron despite all the potential conflict that a broken marriage, new relationships and custody issues can bring.

If not....well, it's interesting if it amounts to a motive for anyone but I haven't seen anybody say that only women can have them.

LE hasn't released any alibis so far. I would dearly love to see some.

Brings up a real quick question - Did we learn for a fact that Desiree & Tony were in Medford the morning Kyron went missing? I've assumed that may be true, but I've not seen this confirmed - maybe this was covered in an article this w/e or anything? Or maybe you were just assuming that's where they were?

On the same vein - did we ever learn for a fact that Kaine was at work?
