I don't think it is going to take the typical three months to make an arrest in this case. JMHO.

The father of missing 7-year-old boy Kyron Horman is staying elsewhere this week after taking the daughter he has raised with Kyron's stepmother out of their home.

WTH ?

She's Terri's daughter too.

But it she alone? Maybe LE is there or a relative or friend?

She seemed to be alone when the WW reporter showed up. No other cars in the driveway (just the Mustang) and only her 18 month old mentioned in the article.

I don't know when her dad got there.

I think a meltdown is happening in the family.

Interesting, I also called KOIN about 4:30 to see if they knew about this and he said they would have Mike Donahue 'on it'. I think they already knew tho as FOX here in Beaverton was well aware of it.

Does that mean LE will be speaking on their behave ?

Kaine is spending time with investigators? why is more time needed beyond an hour here or there? genuine question ... I've never had the pleasure

I am beginning to wonder if the questionnaire results are revealing information KH needs to privately be informed of by LE...and maybe advise him to move away from the home.

Being physically alone, doesn't mean someone isn't under some type of surveillance. I think we are all going to be impressed with LE when the facts are finally out with this case.

This is just to strange to comprehend. Using ones reasoning skills it seems obvious what this all means. I really don't think the family statement will be truthful about the circumstances, just like the explanation of the truck being towed wasn't forthcoming. I think there will be a break in this case very soon.

Agreed and also agreed. I really feel like - in addition to speculating that the move is related to protecting KH and the daughter from potential threats, or maybe TH needs protection against herself by her dad - that this move is also stemming from TH's circle continuously fueling flames by releasing information about her. We still don't know, and many of us cannot imagine, LE truly barring family from speaking out, but DY and KH seemed pretty intent to not divulge much information about the case. All the "blended family" stuff and truck being looked at twice and polygraph tests are coming from people TH has obviously spoken with. Whatever their intentions are by repeating her info to media - love or protection - it is very different from all the other family members media activity, and up for speculation as a little erratic.

I am waiting with EXTREME anxiety for this family statement tonight...

I doubt it will be very interesting. "The family remains united in their search for Kyron. Doing what is in the best interest of all members of the family. Thank you for your ongoing support."...yada yada. I can't imagine them saying anything else interesting.

If everyone is after Terri why would Kaine leave her there like a sitting duck? Seems she's the one who should be hiding if LE thought there was a threat to her.

I wouldn't like it much if I were under threat and my husband just took my child and left me there alone to fend for myself.

Frankly, I think she's going to be arrested shortly.

MOO

Unfortunately, I think so too.

I know - that wording is just so bizarre, it certainly catches the eye!

OMG, this is big. This is a big red flag to me. I can't think of one good reason LE would advise someone to take their child and leave their house unless they thought there was some kind of danger there. I hope it's ok to say that.
That thought crossed my mind too DairyGirl. If LE believe there is a good chance TH harmed Kyron then it would be prudent to take her other child out of harm's way. Obviously I don't know if that's the reason but I did have that thought.

Probably so. From what I've heard and read over the years, the loss of a child (for any reason) will often lead to the family breaking apart.

I feel so bad for this baby :(

What channel will this family update be on?

The Multnomah County Sheriff would not confirm or deny these reports but said the family will issue a statement sometime tonight, through the sheriff's office.

Does this mean via the MCSO website?

I wonder ~ and this is pure speculation on my part ~ if Kaine might have taken K out of the house because he suspects Terri is going to be arrested and he doesn't want her to see her mother getting hauled off by the police. Since Tony is in LE, maybe there's a desire to ensure that the children don't have any fear of LE?

Again, just throwing that out there.

I don't want to believe that Terri is involved, but it is really hard to fathom a logical explanation for why her husband would leave & take their daughter with him.

I expect the statement tonight to be spin, though, unless they're finally ready to share what they know (which I don't expect).

I love that statement!

I want to steal it & put it in my sig line.

:blushing:

Why? This isn't a Hitchcock movie, or any movie for that matter.

A thread has been started on the anticipated statement release:

[ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107921"]Family to release statement through LE - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

(ETA: This thread is to be used, per JBean, after the statement has been released, not for anticipatory discussion - sorry for jumping the gun.)

Wouldn't it be ironic if Desi is now watching T's baby.

"through the sheriff's office" stands out to me. I don't know if I want to hear this news. :(

I'm not going to like hearing it either. I will never understand these things if I live to be 200 years old.
