Question for the legal eagles....

Can you plea before the case goes to jury deliberations....or is it too late?

Just curious, as I can only imagine how bad this is going to look for JB and ICA. Will the cards fall once they realize there's no way out of the DP?

Of greater concern, given how little the Primary defense council seems to be concentrating or budgeting towards penalty phase is the actual Supreme Court decision in that case. (Which was a very troubling one on many levels)

I believe you can attempt to arrange a plea bargain at pretty much any point up until the jury returns a verdict. Although I would not count heavily on the judges leniency in sentencing once you have wasted several weeks of the courts time...
