This and every other detail in this case, in the end, amounts to one thing: how could anyone hurt this precious, innocent little ray of sunshine?? Whoever did this, is a sick monster--whoever hurts ANY child. Whether Kyron is alive or deceased, he is still damaged beyond repair at this point.

People treat children like garbage these days it seems---and they get away with it. It infuriates me. If anything is going to end the world---not global warming, famine, or war---it is going to be murdering and traumatizing children, because they are the KEY to a brighter future.

For what it is worth, I read one of those "statement analysis" things about the case and yesterday's PC, and the person writing it indicates that Desiree saying "Kyron is alive" means basically the opposite and that she is the only one of the three that believes it. He also noted the word "extreme" being used in front of "confidence" which tends to put too much stress on the "confident" thereby diluting it instead of emphasizing it. (how they feel about investigation)

I find it outlandish to believe that if Kyron was seen back east someplace and was being transported back to Oregon, for example, that LE could zip mouths on both coasts, as someone suggested. They (seem to)have effectively muzzled local parents, possibly the media and family, but I really don't think they are all-powerful. And I don't think a leak would be one person posting on a newspaper website. So far, lots of "tips" have come via those sites, and none pertaining to Kyron's whereabouts or well-being have panned out. Someone would talk to the news, IMO, and get their 15 minutes.

If we are believing posters, one on FB who claims his wife or sister works with Desiree said that she will probably never believe Kyron is gone, so her statement was just a reflection of her feelings.

I know we all want to believe that he is in safe hands, somewhere, but I just don't.

This whole thing is so strange, it is starting to smell like a hoax to me - right down to the CSI t-shirt he is wearing in the last known photo of him. It's the only thing that makes any sense to me. It all just seems "staged" somehow. :waitasec:

I can understand you feeling that way but there's no way Desiree's tears are staged IMO

that is a frightened and distraught mother

I don't think the family has asked for donations, so what would be the motive?

and if TH staged it, why would she put herself in debt hiring an expensive lawyer?

I agree a lot of stuff doesn't make sense but then I think about every case and it always seems that I feel that same way - it's because we're trying to apply normal everyday logic to an illogical and unnatural situation IMO

snipped for brevity

I have seen this posted many times, but have never seen it in articles anywhere. Where is the info that Desiree is a nurse coming from? She is not licensed in the state of Oregon as an RN/LPN or CNA. Just wondering if anyone has a link????
TIA :waitasec:

Please link to a MSM source and not a personal site or source. Thanks.

I don't know her maiden name, but nothing comes up under Horman or Young with the first name Desiree. It's possible that isn't her first name. It's also possible her license is on inactive status or she just let it lapse. Knowing firsthand what she went through to obtain the license in the first place, I can't imagine allowing it to lapse, although some people do.

I read somewhere she has another son? Because the RO she filed against/with Kaine said she had a son from a previous marriage? realationship? so maybe there was another last name she got her license under?

"We miss his toothless smile, the belly laugh, the pouty lips but most of all the hugs that he gives us each day," the family said. "We also miss the everyday noise that emanates the house when he is playing."

It's Anderson Coopers blog.....so now I'm confused AGAIN....was it toothy or toothless?

Says toothless also.........

I guess this is what happens when you don't allow video cameras or tape recorders in a press conference?

ETA: "We miss his toothless smile, the belly laugh, the pouty lips, but most of all the hugs that he gives us each day. We also miss the everyday noise that emanates the house when he is playing." - This is emailed response from Desiree to questions from media. Is she transcribing some of what was said yesterday during PC? Or maybe nothing was said during the PC yesterday? I should add that I don't think Desiree has stellar vocabulary/grammar, so it is probably just a minor error on her part (see also her use of word 'emanates'). http://www.kptv.com/news/24122504/detail.html

I read somewhere on this site that TH has a teenage troubled son who lives with her parents a couple hours away. I wonder if there is a possibility that TH is protecting him in some way. MOO

I agree...confusing...I've seen toothy and toothless...toothy makes the most sense of course given the pics of Kyron's wonderful smile.

Well NurseRatchett,

You have busted me... I, too, have seen it a number of times but I cannot confirm it -- been looking. Shame on me for "repeating" what I didn't confirm first. Did you check Desiree's varying last names to see if she was licensed by one of those (maiden, first married name, last married name)? Then again, maybe she was once licensed but has not update her license? Dunno...

Maybe someone else can let us know if they have confirmed Desiree as a nurse. I felt sure that I saw it in a newspaper article, but I sure can't find one with that information now.

Thanks for bringing this up -- guess I shouldn't be stating something as fact, if I can't prove it.

Oh NOT AT ALL meant to "bust" you.... :(
I have meant to reply several times when I have seen this posted elsewhere to get more info, but keep getting distracted by other posts and going off on tangents...
Anyway, yes I did look at all the names I am aware of that she uses.
And really, not that it even matters, so hoping I did not offend you in any way:blushing:

I did notice this was not on the sheriffs websites.

In quotes. Toothless.

The KATU reporter stated they were "allowed" to record to make sure quotes were accurate.

Toothless. Again.

Kyron's smile was NOT "toothless".

It was recorded. Apparently Kaine is the one who referred to Kyron as "toothless".

I get the toothless thing though. In several photos he is missing his two top front teeth and is so sweet. I know he didn't currently look like that, but I think they meant it as remembering something endearing.

I totally agree.

I really think someone "snatched" Kyron from school that day or Terri had some kind of accident with him.

I know it seems only logical to call for help even if you know someone is deceased and nothing can be done to revive them, but with what we have seen of the family dymamics recently, maybe it is not so hard to imagine that Terri would "freak out" and hide the fact that someting happened to Kyron.

While I cannot even begin to figure out what it would take to dispose of (I hate to say that) the body of a baby who is like your own child and lie to everyone about what actually happened, to her it may have seemed the only option.

Not saying that is what happened, of course. It is just something I feel could be possible.

K.

P.S. Very OT, but if your Avatars get any more adorable I may actually die. Not sure you could be charged with anything, but just letting you know. :-) Your cat babies are soooo precious! Forgive me if I'm out of line to say that.

Love & prayers for KYRON.

We are not sleuthing family members. We can discuss information released by the main stream media regarding TH only at this time.

Do NOT start posting about resumes, schools attended, organizations that the family members belong to, bra size or anything else of that nature.

We ask that you continue to follow the rules of threadiquette and not sleuth out family members. Main Stream Media links and discussion is OK

Thank you.

Toothless is interesting to me, only in the fact that if it was the SM who said it or wrote it, it would be a wild topic of conversation.

Today in reading through multiple threads, I've seen it talked about quite a bit...I tend to agree that if SM said it, it would be picked apart more, but it seems to me a good deal of picking has taken place already today.

IMO, it was an honest mistake.

Nopey nope nope...this is no hoax, not in my opinion...

BUT AND BUT... I would like to know who bought that CSI shirt and put it on that child and in what proximity to his disappearance. From the moment I saw that child in that shirt in front of his science project and just before his disappearance, from the moment that I learned that CSI was listed as something enjoyed on SM's FB page...I had a strange gut feeling.

We are further along... Kyron was evidently in that shirt (seen in a picture, at a zoo?) prior to this event.

I hope to God that we don't learn that his CSI shirt for a 7 year old boy was not some sick way of saying, "Got ya."

They visited the CSI exhibition in 2009 (June). I saw the photos on her FB. I don't know if that is when he got the t-shirt.
