This Gonazales person, anyone seen a picture of her? mug shot or news paper? I'm wondering how much she looks like Zanny

On this page, look for Inmate Release Information, click on it, on the page that opens type in her name: OG-M.

Not quite a 10.

Yes, it's not uncommon for Hispanics to have hyphens in their names. In Latin American countries, they use surnames such as Fernandez y Gonzalez, a combination of the mother's and father's surnames. When they come here, sometimes they change it to Fernandez-Gonzalez. They also do that when they marry to carry on the "y" combo tradition.

If the direct link doesn't work, on the main page, look for Inmate Release Information and type in her name. OG-M.

another "odd" thing the name Gonzalez-Mendoza.... almost like Fernendez-Gonzalez.. Maybe Casey in her "panic got the name wrong of the baby sitter that she had known for 4 years(<---sarcasim) but seriously is the - in spanish names common and the z?
Except that Gonzales/Gonzalez is a common Hispanic surname. I myself actually have a cousin named Gonzalez!
And yes it is common for them to hypenate. One surname is their father's- the other their mother's maiden name. I have a good friend: SP-G.
Wanted to add, instead of a separate post-that also the "z" at the end (I presume that's what you asked, rather than Zenaida) is also common in many Hispanic last names- Gonzalez, Lopez, Fernandez, Hernandez, Guitterez, Baez, Ramirez, Ortiz, Alvarez, just to name a few...

That's why I'm called "aksleuth". Actually it was easy. Just went to the Florida Department of Corrections site, went to Inmate Release Info, typed in her name, and Viola! :woohoo:

Even if Baez wanted to blame Casey's deed on this woman, she doesn't fit the bill agewise. Remember, KC's best pal Zanny was much younger and KC never claimed Zanny was homosexual, or did I miss that?

Totally bizarre, but isn't KC's ex-boyfriend's last name Lazaro, or something like that?

thats true sleuth but it doesn't mean they wont try it, and hope no one notices the discription doesnt fit.

I'm sorry, I am seriously trying to figure out what the defence strategy is, and I can't figure it out, and that doesn't make me feel to good about myself because these people are ummm....what word want get me banned.......they are..well....okay I feel a rock has more intellagence

The article say OG-M was convicted and sentenced to 15 years and 40 years, but she's been released already! She entered prison in 1992 and was released in 2008. That's nowhere near the 40 year sentence for second degree murder. :(

We know JB and company will try every trick in the book even if it doesn't make sense. I'm still waiting for his concrete proof Casey is innocent. The proof he promised Judge Strickland by last Feb, was it? :shakehead:

I have a feeling that Jose is wanting this phone call protected more for what HE says on the recording, than for what Miss Robin says. I think the recording may show that JB was had (as in scammed) by Miss Robin, and he doesn't want it to come out in public. :waitasec: Maybe?

Red by me....

In a nutshell........yep!!!!

In a nutshell........yep!!!!

Yup...cuz I was thinking, if it is something that would be exculpatory, why would JB want to keep it under wraps?....wouldn't he be shouting it from the top of the "World's Best Hispanic Lawyer Mountain"?

Thanks for the link. When I looked her up it shows she has been incarcerated at Lowell CI since 2005.

I don't see any way that she personally knows or has talked with KC.

So, I'm thinking she is just a scammer inserting herself in a highly publicized case.

Maybe I'm missing something though, we shall see.

Even if she doesn't get special treatment in jail for her testimony she gets to get out of jail and into the world for awhile and she also gets another chance to escape and some do good public notoriety. JMO

IMO, it's far more likely she lied about her name to KC.

If that's a 10 then I'm a 100, just sayin.

Reading around the net, seems this Robin Lunceford called Jose Baez to tell him Maya Derkovich made up what she said about ICA to get transferred to Lowell...FWIW!

so I'm under the impression RL had no conversations with ICA herself but called ICA's attorney to inform him of her suspicions...

Justice for Caylee

Hoping this is okay, mods/staff....just trying to understand how this woman fits into the picture with Caylee..JMHO

I agree! These are the three most publicized cases involving young children as victims with women as perps in recent Florida history. No way, IMO, one jailhouse snitch could have info about them all. It's a scam on her part.

But then, why would Baez want the phone call sealed if it's so obviously a jailhouse scammer? If it's all bogus, why give it the attention by filing a motion?
rbbm:
Oh this is so typical of JB. He makes this statement in court that he knows is useless, but takes the pressure off him and the experts who just inspected the forensic evidence. :waitasec: He knows they found nothing new to help ICA so he just wants us to look in another direction while he figures out how to smoke screen it all.

Some funny coinkydink statements in a case that Robin was was a jail snitch about....

http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2010-06-15/news/fl-miami-mom-lollipops-trial-20100614_1_baby-lollipops-murder-ana-maria-cardona-baby-sitter

But Cardona's defense attorney, Edith Georgi, insisted Cardona allowed the boy to be given to an unknown baby sitter.

She could not have killed him because she was not with him during those last months of his life.''

After the body was discovered, Gonzalez whisked Cardona and her two children to the Orlando area for a supposed trip to Walt Disney World that turned into an extended stay

whose emaciated and badly beaten body clad in a lollipop-adorned T-shirt was discovered by a Florida Power & Light Co. crew.

Food for thought.

 Now that is just toooooo weird for words!!

Thank you! It makes much more sense that it's info about Maya rather than ICA.

Perhaps JB hired her to find out that info and that's what he would like to hide? MOO :twocents:
