LambChop - what *I* heard was that the judge said, IF BIG IF he grants the request that it would be ONLY in the courtroom. But, he also told JB to write a motion and to also notify the institutions involved (so they can file objections!) and he will take a look. HE DIDN"T RULE or I am going crazy - which is possible!

I'll be so disappointed if HHJP rules that KC doesn't have to wear leg shackles. Inmates are shackled for the protection of everyone in that courtroom. Just because she is a petite female doesn't mean she isn't a threat.

I agree and it opens pandora's box up for all to not have to have them. I think that is why the judge said to make sure to notify all the institutions whom might want to be heard on the matter.

I got most all of it but lost connection when CA said something about a live Caylee????WTH...anyone have a short sentence telling me what she said please and thanks!!!

"I still think Caylee is alive."

Maybe she stumbled and meant "I still think of Caylee as alive"?
That would seem the better of the two considering the creamation, memorial, tatoos and jewlery.:waitasec:
imo :cow:

I have no problem with Cindy stating that she still believes Caylee is alive-Everyone goes through that when they lose someone they love...you pick up the phone to call, see something that reminds you of them and you want to tell them...whatever. I thought it was interesting how emotional Cindy was during LDB's summation where she talks about the panic and hysteria that overcame Cindy when she realized that Caylee was not coming home anytime soon... :(

LDB was wonderful today. (again)

OT - sorry, but...... Does anyone know where The World According to was today? I missed her in here!

Carry on.........Thanks!

Was reading down the Today's News - and got a shock! Fair warning and how ridiculous is this?

Clickorlando is talking about Caylee fans who won't let anything let them miss this hearing - and they quoted my wowsers! comment as an example....ack!

Some people will print anything - LOL :waitasec:

rbbm: and that would be the sheriffs office and I believe they will nix this request as they have nixed all the other "special requests" JB has made on behalf of ICA.

My take on today's hearing.............

Cindy did better than I expected. Her temper was held in check. You could tell that she had been coached right from the beginning. When she was being questioned by JB, if she started to elaborate instead of answering with a simple "yes" or "no", she responded right on cue from JB when he stopped her elaboration and asked for a yes or no answer.

For a while I thought she was going to be absolutely truthful, but then there were little things she said that were telling. She was evasive when it came to her knowing what decomposition smelled like. She really blew it when later in her testimony in regards to a question about Caylee, she stated that she still thought Caylee is alive.

Lee seemed to be truthful. But the fact that he mouthed "I love you" when it took the stand tells us that regardless of Casey's accusation that he molested her, he's still standing by her. I did note that when his testimony was over he didn't go and sit with his parents. He either left the courtroom or was seated elsewhere outside of the camera angle.

The last witness, Debbie, Cindy's supervisor seemed very nervous and distraught that she had to testify. She did state that Cindy and George both smelled the car and knew it was the smell of decomposition. Her testimony was in opposition to Cindy's claim. I wonder what the defense goal was in calling Debbie to testify?

That's a good question. It might have been to show that CA was so calm at work she didn't feel the need to leave. It also seems like she was pressed to say that CA told her GA smelled the smell of death in the car but she wouldn't say it.

CA seemed relieved in the end that it was all over (and perhaps a little surprised that it went so well after all the hoopla regarding her testifying). For the most part, she was truthful and not confrontational in the least. At times she became emotional (during questioning about the night she found out that Caylee was gone). KC remained emotionless throughout CA's testimony, even when it was clear her mother was experiencing much pain reliving the night of July 15th, 2008. You know, if there really was a kidnapping and KC saw her mother hurt like that, she would be filled with sadness about what her mother went through. But, no... she seemed almost angry at the things CA was saying. I wonder if CA will take a lesson from this hearing and realize how easy it is to just answer the questions truthfully and without confrontation.

My favorite part of the hearing was when Lee took the stand and mouthed "I love you" to KC. LDB responded in a deadpan tone "I take it that you weren't directing that towards me."

I think the murder of Caylee was all about CA. I think she did it as a way to get back at her mother and set herself free from Caylee. (Caylee was the link holding her to her mother, JMO)

hmmm forgot to mention that as my husband was bringing my baby in to go to sleep, he glanced curiously at the screen to see what I was so excited to watch and said, oh, is that her mother? pointing at ICA :O

I said that's ICA, *camera switches to CA* that is her mother

and he says well....she looks old enough to be her mother :|

I noticed and as I recall a few other posters, in the last hearing, that ICA's looking a bit old and peaked. then again now that I have seen LA today with that gray hair! eeek! perhaps in the family they just appear older faster?

darn as I was hoping ICA was having guilt ravaging her. le sigh.

What this family is going through would age anyone quickly. JMO

I just got home from work and wasn't able to see any of the hearing today. Did someone tape it or is there a link to the hearing? Thanks!

The hearing was four hours long. The best you'll be able to do is find snippets of it I'm guessing. So far I haven't seen anything.

Oh my gosh you guys...I realize this will randomly fall and it's late to the thread, but :woohoo:

I've been away up north at a camp with my kiddo and am still up here... first chance I've had to log on...watched the trial streamed today and then the laptop battery cut out before JP's decision...just now able to get back on!

JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE...can't wait to watch the rats jump ship now..........

If anyone finds links to watch the entire hearing please post- TIA

Maybe it's just me, but no one appeared upset by today's ruling about the 911 tapes.
So did the Defense figure the motion would be denied? I can't help thinking that they have something so big up their sleeves (paper flowers and a rabbit) that they really truly think KC is going to walk. What would that be, what would be so big (in their minds) that the 911 tapes wouldn't matter?
I felt like I was watching the wrong Hearing. Everything was off. I don't care how much pre-hearing practice CA got, the CA I saw today I have never seen before, never. Have I gone outta my mind - aren't the 911 tapes a big deal?
Everything was off - The audio/video of the hearing - chairs that were added next to the benches that GA first sat in and he was a foot taller than the people on the bences - the clothing that was worn. I thought I was watching some Music Award show (not that there is anything wrong with that) and someone should have been out front asking LA and gf who they were wearing - GW and Cruise (Goodwill and cruise wear)
GA was the only one that appeared upset about anything. He was upset from the moment he walked into the courtroom. I think outta all the Anthony's he is the only one with a soul.

FWIW - This is who JB filed the motion for protective order for today. At the hearing it was mentioned, I hope it's ok to link this here:

Anyone know who those two girls were that were chatting and laughing it up with KC? All I know is I would've been ashamed to be captured on camera totally kissing the a$$ of a baby killer. It's one thing if they are interns and have to be there. It's another to try to grab her attention, totally suck up to her, and sit there gossiping and laughing w/ her right at a hearing dealing with her dead child's smell in her car. So unprofessional and odd.

I actually posted a comment at the time it was happening during the hearing, but it got dropped because of the board being so busy....
The body language of those two BFFs struck me - the blond was sitting apart from KC, kind of like "ewww a murderer" and the dark headed girl was leaning in, closing in on KC, like "hey, I'm your friend, you can tell me what you did to your baby". I think they are just legal assistants from CM and/or JB's firm, who think they are in the limelight, even though it may be dimmed by a baby killer.

I couldn't agree more. Things were hinky all the way down to like you pointed out, georges new height advantage. Somehow I do see a target on his back. If I were a betting woman, I would bet the parents are not still together.
I think the designer was GW btw and very disrespectful to the court and Caylee's memory.

ITA....I hope they make her keep them on....could care less if they were uncomfortable...perhaps if she spoke the truth she wouldn't have to wear them so long....it is in her court...Tired of jb and company trying to make it seem like she is the victim of this-when in reality we know CAYLEE was the true and only victim ---

It was like when they complained that she didn't want to be a court all the time--WTH???? She isn't special--She is a convicted felon--or has he forgot her plea of guilty with the check charges???? Shameful for what they choose to complain about--next it will be her meals....:furious:
