Was the Today Show thing done in two segments and Imissed the first one? You're all talking about stuff I didn't see!

I too was wondering what was going on. I missed the actual interview from The Today Show, but watched the long video as posted here. I now am thinking that the posted video may be for a documentary yet to be aired because it was too long for a segment and I never saw Meredith V at all. Does anyone have a copy of the Today telecast from this morning?

Observations:

CA says Caylee's birth was one of the most exciting days of her life... She forgets she was denying KC was pregnant!

CA admits 911 call was "excited utterance."

CA can't tell the difference between "attacking KC," and bringing justice for Caylee.

CA "If KC is capable of that, I'm capable of that because were cut from the same fabric."

So interesting that she can keep both of these thought at the same time:
Caylee is alive, and Caylee is dead, but KC didn't do it.

CA: I want the truth to come out, and I want the evidence to show KC had nothing to do with it. (CA wants the world to conform to her wants)

CA: Wants to put more effort into the foundation, but still can believe Caylee is alive. (Doesn't say she won't rest until she finds Caylee)

GA: "I want the truth to come out no matter what." (I believe him)

So far I have only watched the looong interview with Sanders.
I found it interesting that Cindy admitted that there was no way Casey could have harmed/killed Caylee because she (Cindy) could never do such a thing either and because they both were cut from the same cloth............Same thing we have been saying for months.

Now I really think something is being cooked up with Jim L.
Why would this interview be so long? And, it wasn't in NYC, it was in the A's house. (the Sander's one)

Cindy says she can't believe the remains are Caylee. But the child was wrapped in a blanket from the house, a laundry bag from the house, trash bags similar to bags from the house, duct tape obviously from the home, a heart-shaped hairclip same as is seen in Caylee's hair, heart-shaped sticker from the house and hair from the scalp of the child that matches hair from the brush CA personally gave LE. So what other person from her household killed this mysterious child. Because if KC did not do it then someone from their household certainly did.

I think many of our posters are right. CA is ready to snap and needs help now. Good lord when asked a question about what is ahead for them with KC she talking about the foundation again. Are they planning on paying their mortgage by soliciting money for this foundation? Making money off this child is still on their minds. You treat TM/TES like dirt and then expect people to hand over money for a foundation that has done nothing. George's message to people who ride by his home to get out there and volunteer do something productive with your life. Slapping my head and gasping at the same time. GA you are actively trying to ruin the lives of 4,000 volunteers for TES and you had the nerve to mention volunteers. GA if you're not part of the solution....you're part of the problem....... jmo
Yep!! They are encouraging people to volunteer but question the TES searchers' motives who came to help find Caylee. These two not only try to craft their words to their advantage but they craft their own thoughts to soothe their own consciences as well.
Never did they show up at the gathering place where the TES searchers organized ~ Doesn't that show their true lack of support for volunteerism? Instead, they're slapping TES and MN for not turning over all of the TES application information. (That's what I think was in the "first box" that CM claims was taken away from them ~ and those applications have NO information on them pertaining to where those applicants searched.)

It irks me to hear Cindy's smoothly modulated, pitiful voice proclaiming her daughter's innocence and compare it to the nasty, spiteful letter she wrote concerning MN. What a cheap act. :furious: MOO

Sanders said he read CA letters. I wish he had asked her if she was "pure of heart" when she wrote all the nasty things about MN.

I'm glad I did'nt watch that crap. I know from personal experience that denial can be unbelievably powerful.
I struggled with denial for several years, from an act too horrid, to even be able to talk about. Denial is given to us to protect us when our minds cannot accept the horrid event. It goes deep; then begins to surface. We push it back down...It tries to crawl out again. It will continue, until the person can begin to accept the tragedy.
I believe Cindy wants to hold on to her denial simply to save Casey from her impending death. I think shes willing to 'go down with the ship'...at all cost.
If Cindy does not get help and become willing to accept the truth that 1- Casey murdered her daughter, and 2-Caylee is dead, she is going to deteriate into full blown psycosis.
It will happen. It has'nt yet. She looks too good. She can still carry herself well. She hasnt begun to waste away. This has not broken Cindy.....but it will.
What angers me the most about this case is that I'm not sure it's denial thats keeping her going. I think its only to save Casey.

Why oh Why can't an interviewer just ask:

If I was innocent I would not sit in a jail for over 2 years for something I did not do - this entire family mocks the justice system and gets away with it.

Thank you all for your comments -

I am staging a protest, and refuse to watch any of it, and will rely on your comments give me the 411 on the latest showing of the Anthony propaganda tour.

Goldleaf, I tell myself that the 4 of them, in the long run, will have accomplished nothing and fooled no one. All of their talk is just that....talk.

BBM
So whose ashes is she wearing around her neck in that locket?:banghead:
If she didn't believe the remains were Caylee's then why have the remains cremated and purchase jewelry to preserve the ashes and why in the world would she wear the remains of a dead child that she believes isn't Caylee.
This my friend is what makes no sense at all...the forensics are fine...they make perfect sense...Cindy's belief that the remains were not Caylee and the fact that she wears the ashes of those remains...well that's just crazy.

I noted that at the beginning of the video it was stated that the A's received no money for the interview and the A's confirmed that.

Made me wonder....was money paid for the images of Caylee that were used?
Well, maybe that was under prior licensing?

For people who complained during this interview that people still drive by the house and they're hounded all the time, they sure manage to stay in the limelight by choice.

Did anyone do a count of how many times Caylees name was spoken by the As?

Why did NBC bother flying them up to NYC when over 90% of the interview was done right in the Anthony's dining room?

If I am understanding posters here, the interview was at the A compound. Therefore, NBC paid for the exclusive rights to film in their home. Otherwise, the interview would have been held at the studio with old photos.

Cindy mentions where they will be a year from now after the trial, she says they may be living in another state and that Casey will be with them and actively involved in the foundation.
Maybe Cindy thinks she will be moving to Hollywood?

There were only approx 3-4 minutes of actual studio footage.
The rest was all in their home, bet they did get paid for rights.
It just never ends, does it?
