2010.08.16 Tim Miller Interview

I vaguely remember that interview. When you mentioned the part about Caylee putting her hands on Cindy's cheeks and telling her everything would be alright, it jogged my memory.

I also remember that Cindy jumped out of her car and threatened Holly Bristow with no more exclusives on October 14, 2008, when Casey had been indicted and was heading to jail.

Hasn't Cindy threatened others with "exclusives?" This woman seriously believes herself to be a celebrity. Does she know that all anyone cares about is Caylee? That once Casey is in jail that none us will ever look back at her or anyone else in her disgusting family? Unless of course they are being charged with crimes relating to the things they have done in this case? I really don't think she understands how disliked she actually is because she has a few people around her who cater to her delusions. I think once this trial is over and no one calls to want an "exclusive" with her that all these hanger-ons will disappear and Cindy will finally get it. It was NEVER about her. It was NEVER about Casey. It is ALL about Caylee. Caylee ONLY.

I remember George talking about the way Caylee used to put her little hands on each side of his face and say something but I don't remember Cindy.

Yes one of the ways the Anthonys abuse people is with threats to withhold "exclusives" and interviews. Anything they can use will become a weapon to use against people to try to control them.

I can't see that the Anthonys have anything to say that would interest anyone. They are still singing the same old song that we have heard a million times....Casey is innocent. Why waste good money on nothing!

I also don't see how a movie or book is going to garner much attention. We have followed this case from the beginning..most of us anyway. We probably know it as well as the attorneys do. Jean said that she believes the judge will allow TruTV to have cameras in the courtroom for the trial as he has allowed them in for the hearings and seems to like the way they handle things. I hope she is right. So there would be nothing to tell in a movie or book....especially if the Anthonys are involved....lies and more lies.

I honestly believe that CA wants ICA to hang tough and never ever admit guilt, for the sake of the family image and her own guilty conscience.

If ICA never admits to anything, asis her defiant modus operandi then when inevitably found guilty CA forever has plausible deniability that ICA was framed and there is no proof.

If KC did confess, CA would insist that KC was tortured or something which forced her to confess even though she really didn't do it.

By the way, can someone explain to me just what exactly the defense thinks one of the TES searchers might have done? As I'm reading this thread, I'm trying to grasp why the records are vital to the defense anyway. All the searchers are assigned to teams correct? I don't get what they think someone could have done to make them responsible for Caylee being found on Suburban Drive? I don't get what the accusation (that would clear KC) is supposed to be. :waitasec:

I'm clueless as to what this whole issue is even about. I do understand why it would be detrimental to TM's organization to cause all of the searchers' personal info to be made public. I totally get that. What does Jose think one of the searchers may have done that would clear KC?

KidFinders Group also has a 2nd hand, thrift store that they run ~
I once again, cannot remember where I read about it, but, someone actually saw it, went inside, and returned with their camera and posted a picture of it.

People of many talents.....

Fishing for a TES Searcher?

To somehow to authoritatively state they did their own search and were at the exact same spot that Caylee was later found and she was not there at that time .... to suggest that Caylee was dumped after ICA went to jail.

As everyone has said, the tricky part is .... if I go into the woods to search how can I claim I was in the "exact same spot" when in theory Caylee was not there .... so how would I know? What reference would I have to know for sure?

Like searching for a needle in a haystack but you claim that the needle was not where it was found when you looked .... so you'd have to examine every blade of grass on your knees else you might have just missed it.

You can find something now that was not there before but you cannot prove it was not there before in such an overgrown jumble of changing jungle.

Crazy but true. I think the Defense thinks if someone testifies or can be viewed as SODDI then a Juror might buy into it. Can you spell desperation?

My thanks too, camcneishg, it's folks like you who make this world a better place. I've only been on one search, and that was for Danielle Van Dam. It's a very humbling experience.

I believe this case is going to impact searchers. Back in those days (2002) we didn't fill out forms. It was each their own. Fortunately, the company I (and Damon) worked for had gathered a huge search party.

At the end of it all, it was 2 lone searchers who ended up finding her remains (I don't think they were ever named).

Things have sure changed since then :(

MOO

Mel

Many here have followed the Stacy Peterson case. Stacy disappeared on October 28, 2007 in Bolingbrook, Illinois. TES came in to search in late 2007 or early 2008, and I remember some of the searchers posted here at WS. I don't remember any of them mentioning filling out any paperwork. I wonder if that was a change in procedure between the Peterson case and the Anthony case?

Dan ~ Sorry, no, I have no idea where that video was, or, if it was even kept.

It was with FOX Orlando though, and she specifically called Holly out by name.
While the camera was running, and Cindy was on her way back to the van, you could hear the occupants of the van, "she's coming back here! oh my God, she is coming back here, get the camera focused!".
There was lots of hurried hands and the camera panning all over getting things set up they were so shocked at what she was doing.

Cindy wasted no time ~
She marched back to the van, stuck her head and finger in and called Holly out on it.

Someone else has to remember seeing that exchange.

Then, it was not to long after that, that Holly DID have a pre-taped interview/"exclusive" with Cindy that was aired.
That one was about an hour long, and I have looked all over for that one to no avail.
I think that it was taped a day or 2 before the grand jury hearing. It was in an outside setting, like a park. They were sitting under a wooden gazebo type thing ~

Does anyone remember that one??
Cindy was VERY mellow in that one, and, she had me actually feeling sorry for her, and was "this close" to believable.
In that interview, Holly asked her what she missed about Caylee and Cindy's reply was that she missed and loved how Caylee would take her little hands, put them up to Cindy's cheeks and squeeze them together, and, tell her, "It'dll be awright CeCe, it'dll be awright".

At the time, I thought how sad ~ WHAT could a 2 and half year old have seen in that house that she had to reassure the grandmother that it would be alright????
That brought tears to my eyes......
Does anyone remember that interview??
I wish that I could find it again, but it seemed to have disappeared shortly after airing ~

bbm
I do.
It was happening LIVE. FOX was following Cindy and Casey and Cindy got out at a iirc red light and went over to the van.
I found this video link it's a news segment that has the exchange in it..starting at the 55 sec. mark.

ALSO, In regards to the interview with Holly Bristow..I have been unable to locate the video to link but it is mentioned on online searches.

Fox 35 reporter, Holly Bristow got to sit down with Cindy Anthony for an exclusive interview. She asked Cindy what was her plans while the grand jury met on Tuesday. Cindy’s response was, “I’m going to be where ever Casey is. I want to make sure that is she’s re-arrested, that I am able to give her one last hug, in case I can’t do that for a while.”
"» Caylee Anthony Search Postponed, Cindy Anthony Is At It Again ...
Oct 13, 2008 ... FOX 35 interviews Cindy Anthony. In an exclusive sit-down interview, FOX 35 reporter Holly Bristow asked Cindy Anthony, mother of Casey, .."

I have found a link to an interview Fox Orlando did with Cindy and Cindy is shown sitting outside at a park. It is brief

The thanks button wasn't enough.............I think we all needed that video today!

Agreed.

Too often when I log on to read about this case, I come away with a tightness in my throat and chest brought on by the antics of some of the players (and they treat it like a game) in this fiasco.

Watching Mr. Miller was like a breath of cleansing, fresh air....a voice of reason with no game playing. I truly feel for him. When he got involved in this situation, he had no idea he was wading into a pig pen with mud so sticky and deep that it would try to suck him down into it. But he has managed to keep above it all, to struggle out of the muck and mire, to fight another day.

We need more TMs in this world.

...unless their whole point is to just discredit the operation and to leave the open-ended question...was she there...or not?

From that Kidfinders link that I posted, yes, they require a $25 membership fee, payable by PAYPAL, and then dues or the same fees each year there after as well.

It sure would upset Cindy's apple cart if Casey confessed. :)

Oh ~!! And, KIDFINDERS also have their hands in trying/wanting to open a wayward-homeless shelter/home for runaways.

Go figure.
Like I said, people of many talents with their hands in lots of pots ~ Yet, can't pay their bills either.

...unless their whole point is to just discredit the operation and to leave the open-ended question...was she there...or not?

Very true. This strategy originated from Macaluso and he was the methods and procedures guy ..... so they attack the credibility of TES organization?

Also, maybe to show there were many independent searches and searchers, although you don't need TES records since it is well documented but why not go after TES (CA requires that) -- trampling over that area (cover for SODDI)?

Makes me think now that CA just wants to embarass TM given her involvement with JB to force MN's hand.

It sure would upset Cindy's apple cart if Casey confessed. :)

Like I said in an earlier post, they would have to put her in restraints, a needle in her arm hooked up to a vodka drip, plus, bubble wrap the ole gal.

She would have one chapped a$$ ~ would not want to be around her at all.

The defense hopes one (or rather many) of the TES searchers will testify that they searched the exact place where Caylee's remains were found and at that time the area was not under water and Caylee was not there. Laura Buchanan has already said this and the defense is hoping to find more searchers to say the same. If this happened when KC was in jail then the defense will say someone else had to put Caylee there and it then can not be proven that KC killed Caylee, so no conviction.

Richard Hornsby explains it in this video from today: http://www.wesh.com/video/24665289/detail.html

Richard thinks this is the heart of the defense's case. I sure hope it is because if this all they've got then KC is going away for a long time.
