Everyone has always felt that the time leading up to that night was very important. E.g. her drug weekend, her coming back home, all of those things that MC has not been clear on. I am sure this is the time line they are referring to. jmo

But we already have that info. I can't imagine they'd let him plea for info we all have heard from several people???

I certainly hope not. He knew all this stuff Feb 8, 2009. He shouldn't be rewarded for telling it NOW.

My guess is he had the best lawyer.... so far....

And, I'll bet a dollar that he has now admitted to a fight over a gun with cousin Joe at some point. Everyone said it happened and Ron denied it but now that Joe O is in the cross hairs, I think Ron might have fessed up about that little incident. Would make Joe look all the more likely a suspect.

Yes Levi he did. And that should infuriate people, but I have a feeling it won't. Last night I said it gave me comfort that Haleigh was resting in Gods arms, today it does again. She will never have to know what her DADDY did today. :furious:

The timeline could be from before Haleigh went missing to the day of the drug bust. This news does not show that he had or knew anything about what happened to her. As for information he has heard in jail all he would have to do is tell the cops this is who said it and then the cops would talk to that person. It is done all the time in Jail. WBG is still in jail and he may know more about what Misty did that weekend before then has been reported and could be talking too.We all have to remember that we dont know everything that the cops know and till we all do its not fair to blame Ron for knowing more then he has told. Yes, he did the wrong things when Haleigh went missing but, he was also into drugs and was most likely using more after she went missing and alot of the cover up could of been nothing to do with this poor little girl missing but, the drugs that all of them were into. I am not saying that Ron is a good guy or that I support him but, I do hold my judgement till all the information is out there to support what happened that night. This is all just my own thoughts and MOO.

today proves why this isn't a pick a good guy over a bad guy case. Ronald may not have killed Haleigh, but he has withheld information, about his dead daughter. & that's despicable. so...the pressure is on for Misty & she knows that Ron has turned on her. finally...in an attempt to help himself. how noble.

I do not see a deal for the drug cases, they have all plead no contest. He had to tell SOMETHING about Haleigh. That would be the only REAL reason to make a deal...

What I'm interested in, did he get any immunity in any future case?

It infuriates me... And I'm surprised at the visceral response I am having as I predicted all along Ron knew something and was prepared for today. But to actually hear the words... plea deal for HaLeigh's case... Makes me sick. I wanna go hug Crystal.

I was thinking along these lines around the time of the divers' search at the St. Johns—the first search around 3/30/10. We at WS were trying to determine the source of the search. Still wondering about it because Ron seems to have had some sort of leverage with LE all along. Hmmm.

Could Ron plea deal on drug charges with info regarding Haleigh's disappearance?

Could the search have anything to do with Ron's potential plea deal? Did he throw LE a bone in anticipation of his 3/31/10 court appearance. I tried to ask this earlier, but didn't word it clearly (and may not have this time either )...

I bet he made a sweet deal and I wouldn't be surprised if it included immunity at all, been wondering for a while now if he was gonna turn state's witness and I think that is how this plays out now. JMO

What a shame it took a plea bargain to get him to tell the truth and cooperate with the state. That says a lot about Mr. Cummings.

What truth? IMHO.. Ron C hasn't told the truth if he had he would have already been charged with Haleigh's death....JMHOOTS

It could mean that RC told LE the information and then was reluctant to testify in court. It could mean that RC told LE the information and then was reluctant to testify in court. I would be happy to testify against anyone who hurt my child but maybe he believes in Misty's story (or one of them). Who knows?

So many times, I wanted to believe he was doing the right things and was actually rooting for him, but when he goes on NG and says he isn't aware that LE wants to talk to Misty or he himself cuts off contact with LE because 'besides telling them I was at work, what is there to say' (pretty close) and there are just too many things I can't explain away. JMO.
