Well, I do..... I believe his mother and his grandmother have lied and covered up the truth also...And I'm not convinced some in LE in Putnam County aren't covering for him and their rears too....
Just wondering..
IIRC...Ron C made a statement when that 911 call was made that there were more important people he could talk to rather than 911... Just wondering WHO were those very important people..

I don't know who he was referring to. I think it was just a statement from a hysterical father that thought the 911 operator was not acting fast enough.

But, having said that I have a question and it is this why would LE be protecting Ronald? What would be their reason in doing so? This whole case has been a thorn in their side because it has not been solved in a timely manner so don't you think if they thought RC was involved they would arrest him immediately and put closure to this? Their is no logical explanation for them not to that I can think of. They don't have to have a body I don't think. CA was arrested before they found a body. So if they had any evidence pointing to RC don't you think they would arrest him? Why would LE cover for him? tia

Drugs...and drug deals in Putnam Co., and who's doing them. IMO

"Ronald has a hard time understanding why a person who wanted to steal a gun would steal a child instead," attorney Terry Shoemaker said of the accusations made public this week by the Croslins' attorneys.

Shoemaker said Cummings will testify at any upcoming trials and will continue to cooperate with the investigation of Haleigh's case. The Croslins were arrested in the trafficking case with Cummings.

Cummings' most valuable testimony may be in the form of a timeline concerning the days and weeks leading up to Haleigh's disappearance, Shoemaker said. Law enforcement officials have said Cummings is not a suspect in Haleigh's disappearance.

Does anyone suppose we will get a statement from any of the parties to this proceeding today?

Maybe but I feel it will be the "bombshell" on CNN tonight. :)

I think there is a very good chance there will be!

I wonder if there could be some lawyer input on what may have been said in plea for a potential murder case to drop 25 years off a drug sentence....

  • #148
And you know what else?????????? I'm blaming Ron and his "lawyer" for making me eat that whole plate of sausage nachos, that will go straight to my arse, while waiting for this "news".

:waitasec:

OK, so if Tommy and Misty were to say they would testify against Ronald in the future if needed the state would drop some of their charges to? WTH? This is what led to Ron getting two of his larger charges dropped? Makes no sense to me what so ever!

Maybe the reason he is having such a hard time believing it is because he knows it isn't true. I think perhaps a more accurage statement would have been "he is having a hard time selling it".

Gonna give myself a little time out before I get one for real.

I appreciate you folks. Such kind hearts all in one place for one purpose, find Haleigh. There is still good people in the world. Sometimes we just have to look far out to find them.

I do not think that Mr Cummings 'has anything on' LE in this case and I do not believe that LE is 'covering' for anyone. I believe that LE is slowly carefully preparing their case. I think charges will be filed but I do not think those charges will include homicide, murder 1, or any kind of deliberate killing of Haleigh. JMO

Geraldo: Ron are you a police informant?
Ron: No!
Ron do you use drugs?
No!
Ron do you sell drugs?
No!

By the way, did Ron have a court appointed lawyer or a store bought one? Because his seems to be the only one who actually did something for his client.

oooo....Future drug cases now too. Wowza, snitches don't do to well in the joint do they? Not sure they shudda put that out there.

Could this be similar to the case with Casey Anthony & the check fraud cases? Since she's a convicted felon, it brings higher prison time. Maybe that's the case & with him being a convicted felon, IF he's charged with something like "recklessness" it will require him to serve a longer sentence. Shh..I know, let me dream! :)
