Somewhere in my head I thought the different form came to light when LDB went to do a depo with Laura or interview her and she gave them a different form than they had in their TES records.

In the other hand I could be completely confusing two different events, which is why I am asking for clarification. We often hear things in hearings that don't make sense then or we don't twig to them as being important, and then we get a doc dump and say - oh - that's what that was about.

I just know there was something behind Baez's hoopla last week introducing the new lawyers and grinning under his "shield" - just trying to figure out if it is this or the JAC motion.

I think LB is exactly the reason the Defense now has permission to call all 4000 volunteers. That, and the fact that TM did admit that it's entirely possible that other searchers left without completing all the correct paperwork.

I think it's being handled in exactly the right way -- phone calls with no public disclosure. And, TM has done a few interviews recently where he has, of course, encouraged all volunteers to cooperate and tell the truth.

You're right. I forgot that they also said that there was a point in time when blank paperwork could just be printed off the web as well.

If this woman did falsify records and the police can prove it I hope they prosecute her to the full extent of the law. This lady is going to be in a whole world of trouble.

This is VERY concerning. We all know how Baez has complained that he wasn't given access to TES records. He's made several motions in regards to this. The records have been made available to him for more than a year, but he has to go to Nejame's office to see them, and someone else is in the room with him overseeing.

I've always felt that Baez was after unfettered access to TES records with no one overseeing his viewing of the records. How easy it would be for Baez to slip a false document into TES records and later claim it was right there, easy for anyone to find.

In Tim Miller's interview, released yesterday, he was asked about the forms used by TES and if searchers had access to blank forms. He said that it wouldn't be unusual for searchers to have a blank form to make notations on where they'd searched.

Tim was shown a picture of Laura Buchanan and didn't recognize her.

:waitasec: I wonder where the interview is regarding what was said by the person who was working with the defense team? If the prosecution feels this will help their case it must be pretty damming info IMO. Anyone found the interview yet? Or has that portion not been released? TIA

I read it the same way you read it...............the secretly taped interview that Joe Jordon made, which he turned over to LE is considered evidence, and the info it contains helps put the story together of what happened to Caylee.

maybe this will be what finally sinks Baez ship, nothing has worked so far. I hope he doesn't get away with this like he has everything else. I bet this is why JB has been throwing such a fit about the TES documents, he wanted to sneak this form in those papers and claim he found it and it had been there the whole time. I bet LE gave MN and TM aheads up about this before hand.

I think this is what JB planned to do. I hope TES has a master copy of all the names on the records and the records are numbered, so that if someone did try to slip an extra document into the records, it would be noticed. I hope that master copy is held somewhere separately, like with the court.

Cheating to win is not beneath Baez, imo. With his life track record reflecting a weak moral compass, reckless irresponsibility and self-centeredness.. (can't pay child support, need a fancy car and big houses..) I believe Baez only has his eyes on the golden ring and nothing or no one else matters. A well documented pattern. This case is that ONE big case most lawyers only dream of catching. Baez sees it as his jump off into the big league and big money.. an opportunity that may never pass his way again. Yeah. I think he would cheat and claw eyes out to win this one. He wants status, big houses, fancy cars and friends like Geraldo and Geragos types.

ITA! Baez NEEDS to win this case.

Well, we know TES did have documents covering a JJ search on 9/1/08 and LB on 9/3 and 9/5 BUT she was not assigned that area by TES and claims to have gone there on her own. LE has obtained copies of the documents in question.

If JJ really felt he had thoroughly searched the area which he now denies he ever did, I don't know why he would back down. The water levels are on record from several sources.

The day Caylee was found, December 11, 2008, did either of these two people rush to call LE to tell them 'we searched there back in September and didn't find anything?'
If I was so sure that I had stood/walked right by/near that spot (not 15 feet out from the 'jungle') I would have done that.

My only question is then, how did RK get close enough in in August to see something if nobody else did/could?

All of the players in this case sure are confusing things if nothing else. I sure hope the truth comes out.

The storm headed out toward the Atlantic ocean, and then turned west crossing Florida just north of Orlando to the panhandle. It was the first storm in recorded history to have made landfall in Florida 4 times. There were 36 deaths, 11 tornadoes, and heavy damage.

So the area would have been dry on August 11.

What I heard was JJ had been knee jerking from the media reports that Caylee was found a lot closer to the road than she was and that is why he announced to the world that he had searched the area they indicated and had found nothing. My apologies if this as already discussed.

I don't know what to think. Every time we get another layer of evidence it conflicts with something we've previously heard. Was there a TES search on August 13th?

That's what I was hoping too but then I read somewhere last night that the tape had been turned over to authorities and under law must remain sealed. It would be a felony for anybody to listen to it. Someone posted that JB is still trying to get his hands on the tape. :waitasec: I think it was nums24 who posted that but I can't remember where.

We know that LE is/was working hard to figure it all out. The tape thing and the potentially falsified documents. What a mess.

So far, it looks like the first day of the first TES search took place on August 30, 2008.

According to records, the day Hoover showed up at TES was Nov. 8, 2008. He told Bill Todd of a tip from a neighbor girl of the Anthony's where she stated seeing Casey's car backed into the area on Suburban. He told them they needed to check that area and to leave his name out of it, because he worked for the Anthony's and if they knew he was there, he might be fired.

Now, bedsides the fact that I don't believe in coincidences, this is a mere three days from DC allegedly receiving a call from a psychic telling him to go here, turn right, walk here, etc. Also the Nov. 11 meet and greet was a spur of the moment thing, IIRC, giving the Anthonys an alibi and bringing attention to them while their PI's went in search of Caylee.

Last o/t but, it helps to know concrete dates because then when we read the depose we can compare and decide if it's accurate, etc. I'm surprised, when people go in to talk to LE, that they don't take a few minutes beforehand to figure out who, what, when and where, - anywho, that's what I would do. :snooty:

For the record, I think the three dates for TES searches I list above are correct as far as what I found here on WS through a quick search. Within each timeframe, they may have searched more than one day iirc.
