I'm just saying we don't even know if it's true that they have asked for an interview, so don't assume he has refused, just because of a rumour on another forum.

According to the video that accompanies this link....he has been meeting with them over this past month, and hasn't been reluctant to talk to them.

I don't know what Burke could remember at this point, but there were things like the marked up picture of JR from the year before---the entreprener article where there was a big red X across his face that no one seemed able to explain, and if left by the perp it was a copycat from "Ricochet." There was JBR's statement to the neighbor that Santa was coming to visit after Christmas....was Burke present when they could have talked to someone that made that statement?

Then again, there may be someone that could have been around the family that was not investigated, but something new has come up. It's curious.

I think that it has more to do with the fact that Burke's voice can be overheard on the 911 call, and the Ramsey stated that he was asleep at the time.

An article that I read said that BR's LAWYERS have issued a statement that he has not yet spoken to LE. If he has lawyers, believe me, he won't be talking to them. Why not? Because he doesn't have to. He can never be a suspect because of his age at the time. And even if he were, he still doesn't have to talk to police.

Wonder who that Anchor lady's source was that told her that he had been speaking to LE for this past month...and that he was not reluctant to do so?? I wonder...if he hasn't spoken to them...and is going to refuse to do so, and if LE know that Burke KNOWS something about that night....can he be charged with obstructing justice...or something like that. Could they hold this over his head, to get him to talk. Or better yet...charge him with several things...and then say...we will lessen it to only one charge, if you cooperate.

They never proved it was Burke's voice. The phone was a wall phone, and it's possible the phone wasn't completely hung up---or the voices were on the tape itself in the dispatch office. There would be no reason to lie about Burke being up----he could have awaken during the commotion and come to the stairs and asked questions----and I'm sure the Ramseys would have remembered that. As it is, he was in bed when they checked his room, and awake.......he pretended to be asleep.....most likely he was scared.
