Well I am confused why some are so sure it means Misty is talking. The delay could be for various reasons. Judge is in the middle of trying another case or the DA. Or her defense attorney may have filed a motion for more time to prepare his argument.

I really dont think Misty is TELLING on Ron, she is covering for herself, she would not get all this time and be in jail this long covering for anyone. It just does not make sense. at all. Tommy and Misty placed themselves there and have admitted to being there. It doesnt take rocket science I dont think to figure out who is responsible here. If I am wrong I will apologize, but it just seems that it is down to tommy and Misty now and possibly Joe and Timmy are involved too.... it is the onlly way it makes sense.

Hopefully, Fields has been reading this site & got a few ideas about defending Misty. mainly the best defense is the truth, regardless of what it is.

I've been thinking about cases that drag on, & really this hasn't been that long of a hold out, compared to others. They haven't been in jail, even a year yet. I'm not convinced that Misty has been covering for herself. Look at what it took to get Ron to talk-a deal. & if Misty is talking, she's not far behind him. mere months. & Tommy was the 1st to jump, but the only thing he's been spewing, is pure crap, so, he doesn't count. But, maybe he's being more truthful, this go around?

I agree, but with possibly one or both of the SIL's knowing about it all. I can't see Misty squealing on Chelsea though.

I agree with you Dodie. If Misty is telling the truth, and then Tommy decides to tell alll that he knows HONESTLY, hopefully someone is about to be charged for Haleigh's murder. I bet whoever is responsible is about to really go :crazy: waiting. There has to be some reason they kept Tommy in PC, and maybe Misty and Tommy are telling the same thing... the TRUTH. :woohoo: IT is about to hit the fan!

Like many others, I don't care nor defend any of the possible perps unless there's a fact to prove otherwise. I have my thoughts of who though and dislikes too.

There are differing levels of charges for some of them to be charged or just one of them someday soon I pray. IMO

This is a good thing, this will bring charges. I think once they start rolling, it's on to the next to roll..then to the next.

I read an article where the State Attorney's office announced the delay. I don't think it's for pedicures, other cases, or other things. If a motion had been filed, the State would have said so. They just announced it. To me they agreed due to something that has been in discussion. Besides Tommy's still there. If he moves I will think differently. Ron got 15 due to a plea deal. He talked. Now it's their turn. JMO

I should have been more clear about my theories. Here we are going 20 months into this investigation and the lies, the false leads, the searches with no results.... it is exhausting trying to keep it all straight KWIM? I am more confused now than I was 1 year ago.

I really hope this is the beginning of the end. Haleigh didn't stand a chance.

Yes, it seems like the 25 year sentence is a clear message to MC that she is being held accountable for the loss of HC, and her only option now is "mitigation" of the sentence if she can cooperate fully and pass LDT. I don't have a problem with the stiff sentence, as I feel she is a drug dealer, and will be for many years if released. No real remorse.

Well if Tommy didn't do anything to Haleigh, why would Lindsay leave him and take the kids? she has not been seen or heard from since? protective custody? battered womens shelter? just looks to me like she got out of there fast and did not visit her husband anymore after the visit we saw on TV... gone!

I guess MC knows that TC could face the death penalty and she is bound by loyalty to her gang/family, but he will only be indicted if something can be proved. MC is a trained liar. You can see how she typically works her lies--all of them--they convince themselves in order to sound convincing. "If I knew, I would tell!" they all say. "I'd kill them myself." is another. But since MC is highly impressionable, perhaps the other women in jail will get through to her, to put herself first this time and make a deal.

Now that Misty knows that her "I'm justa kid" defense didn't work and she got 25 years for the drug charges a/k/a the Haleigh homicide charges (IMO), she might be rethinking her position and has decided to tell the truth and implicate the one responsible and his assistants. For now, the Putnam drug charge sentencing can be put on the back burner, something far more important is taking center stage.

I suspect TN and AS may be needing a little more than just Maalox right now.....JMHO

I just read it was the states attorneys office that delayed it.
Why do you think Tommy is still sitting in St. Johns?
