The hilarious part is that NOW, instead of just giving the state his expert witnesses reports, JB has to WRITE those reports. See JB, slacking doesn't pay!

He wasn't slacking he was playing games. I'm sure he instructed his experts to not prepare any reports. He's attempting to run this trial the sneaky way, "trial by ambush". Honorable Perry isn't going to have any of that. JB is trying to circumvent the rules and orders as much as he can get away with. He reminds me of a child constantly testing how far he can go.

I'm not sure if it was just my imagination, but when HHJP asked if Mr. Ashton concurred with JB's assertion hat he had only received half of the Expert Witness reports and JA stood up and said something along the lines of absolutely not, I thought I saw Cheney Mason's head drop -- like a you've GOT to be kidding(<--- or similar) me type of gesture. Did anyone else notice it? I wonder if it was supposed to be an anti-SA non-verbal communication or a can-my-"partner"-Baez-possibly-like-ever-tell-the-flipping(<--- or similar)-truth? type of gesture... It was clear, however, that he had no difficulty hearing Mr. Ashton in this instance...

I remember way back when, when the defense claimed that the didn't need any expert witnesses because they were just going to take the State's expert witness reports and turn them against them. They made many claims based on those reports issued by the state.

It'll be hilarious if the list suddenly gets a lot shorter. :)

I think that's it exactly what is going to happen! and yep..it will be hilarious!

:waitasec::waitasec: I thought the experts had to write the reports and JB had to give the summary and substance? :waitasec::waitasec:

Actually - experts on both sides and attorneys on both sides to write summary and substance. Do I need my ears cleaned out? Very well could be! LOL

IF Baez has to file these 'reports' in the form of a pleading, ****we**** get them too, right?

RIGHT?

I hope so!

If not don't worry for a minute 'cause their marriage is just fine! They said so themselves. :innocent:

I'm sure that George wasn't there because he's busy at home whipping up a lovely candlelite dinner for he and his ladylove Cindy.

TY everybody for such great "Blow by Blow" of this hearing..I was late and only caught the last 5 minutes or so..but ONE thing that really caught my eye was Cindy..Dont get me wrong..I do not agree nor understand just why Cindy chose the path she did..too much to list..but for some reason I actually saw Cindy only wanting a minute to make eye contact with her daughter..and got shut down.....That breaks my heart as a mother..and it must be so hurtful..but then again WE all understand the malignant heart of Casey..but her flaggerant ignoring of her mom must really HURT....I wish Cindy could have just accepted the evilness in her daughter.and taken the highroad..BUT she didnt..so in a way has created her own treatments..

Im no bleeding heart..but by geesh..after all these years..WAKEUP Cindy!!

You know it strikes me that Baez must have one hell of a big opinion of himself, he must really think he rocks.

How in the name of all that is holy did he think that rubbish he sprouted off today was going to fly in court. The order by Judge Perry was clear and concise, Baez did not follow the order and was a snarky jerk to Mr Aston in the process.

Does Baez honestly think he can stand up and say a few "quite franklys" and that is all it takes? Pride comes before a fall, and I predict that a huge nosedive is coming for Baez. He should keep a parachute on him at all times.

what if she was keeping the hair because the ends may contain evidence of something that happened to her to cause her to be confused and fail to understand or report Caylee's disappearance etc.....like she had been drugged or on drugs or whatever. In the beginning I always thought, if I were the defense I would sure be checking her hair for toxicology. But surely they would have checked her hair in the beginning, she wouldn't need to leave it on her head all this time LOL. :)

Now THAT's an interesting thought. Maybe Zanny is hiding in there.

Unless he files it under seal, then yes. But I don't know that Honorable Perry allows under seal filings. So we'll have to see.

I have the feeling he left to go scramble and put a defense together. I have the feeling he's not sure at all what he's doing with his experts yet! This is what procrastination gets you, Baez!

I like Baez, but I'm a bit afraid of the same thing, Aedrys.

Not to go on about the hair but the defense should know better how to present their client so she doesn't have that prisony/witchy long hair look, it's almost to the crazy hermit/shipwrecked on an island kind of look. Why would they let her present herself that way? Can't they get her haircuts?

She should wear a mainstream, normal, haircut like any other young woman who's not in prison would wear.

And I'm shocked when the defense say things like "we're not here to hide anything" and other careless statements like that that can really harm their client's image. They should be more careful. IMO.

the judge's comments didn't seem directed at the defense to me, if anything I thought he was more annoyed with the stalling from the other side. But the message was the same for all, time's up, get with it. IMO

The prosecution isn't stalling.

Prime News on HLN is doing a fairly detailed summary of the Caylee case (from the beginning) right now & they'll be discussing the hearing today. On the panel are Tim Miller, Leonard Padilla, Natisha Lance and more.

No, the order was that if an expert has NOT written a report, JB has to file a summary of what the expert is going to say (i.e., JB has to file the information that the expert would have put in his report that he didn't write). JB could get this info over the phone from the expert without the expert writing anything down.

IF Baez has to file these 'reports' in the form of a pleading, ****we**** get them too, right?

RIGHT?

As long as Musikman is in town Dec 23. :)
