2010.12.15 Dr Jane Bock Report & CV

WHEN IS A REPORT NOT A REPORT.....WHEN ITS AN AFFIDAVIT

"5. A summary of Dr Bock's testimony can be obtained by viewing her affidavit as listed under exhibit 2."

When asked by J Perry about reports, Baez did refer to an affidavit he was going to attach to a motion. Baez semantics yet again, but seems
he kinda, in a round about, vague sort of way...... did own up to the existence of a report only suited him to call it an affidavit. And clever Jose remembered to refer to it as such when he kinda complied with J Perry's order.

Dr Bock, however does refer to her affidavit as a report. :waitasec:
Yeah, I caught that...the judge knows what's going on...nothing really terribly new here. I'm seriously worried that more people will be paying attention to Baez during the trial than to any of the experts. The man is proving to be considerable trouble for Casey. JMO

It will be interesting to see what they disagree with the SAO experts on. Most of his witnesses have that disclaimer attached that they will rebut unthruthfullness presented by the state. I also find it incredulous so much of his expert testimony would be left up to chance ie: I don't know what their specific testimony will be.
My guess is he won't be throwing in the expert wildcards if he doesn't in fact know what they'll say. They aren't Casey fans and they don't love her or think she's hot. They aren't about to look like idiots professionally to help ICA or any accused walk. They may actually tell the truth
Dr Eickenbloom for example. I'm glad he looked at pictures. I've seen pictures of the Vatican. It doesn't mean I can answer questions about the smells or sounds there and it doesn't turn me into an expert on Catholisizm (sp?). Just a person who can compare the picture to other pictures I've seen of similar architecture.
I would think forensic investigation should require all the senses and not just sight coupled with experience.
JMO

So does that mean that any expert witnesses that don't testify have found nothing untruthful about the SAs presentation to rebutt?

This was the only report in the massive 300+ page filing by the defense today. Although there are 2 exhibits missing - Dr. Kathy Reichs, and Dr. John Leeson.

I did not have enough cash to get the whole filing, so I got this one. I will list what the rest of it is about in the sticky Motions thread. :)

Tricia, please remind us of MuziKman's pay pal information. We want to donate to the kitty. Clearly there will be many more trips to the clerk's office 'till May. TIA

I stopped reading at the point when she answered that she also gardens. :floorlaugh:

Aha! Page 55 JA says that in the picture you can see that some of the teeth are missing. Didn't CA insist the remains weren't Caylee's because the number of teeth didn't match up? Of course scavengers might abscond with a tooth or two! :(

O/T can you imagine majoring in plants? Don't get me wrong I had a friend who majored in Turf Grass Management but it would bore me out of my mind.

I love Mr. Ashton always keeping Caylee in mind.

Line 16-17 Mr. Baez - "So there was some vine intervention."

Line #18-19 Mr. Ashton - "Divine Intervention, yes, it was. Unfortunately, it was too late."

She sure says "I don't know" or "I have no idea" a lot.

I haven't read the depos, but from what you guys are saying, it sounds like she has some plant growth in her head. Geez.

I LOVE JA saying it was divine intervention. That almost made me cry!
