KC mimics JB's signature, he mimics her speech patterns, and CM scrabbles ineffectually to cling to some shreds of his dignity so that his :butthead: is not exposed as he seeks the nearest exit? :twocents:

Defense wants court to issue Order for Defense to issue Subpoena for Joe Jordan records.
JJ said in deposition on Dec 8, 2010 that he was an active blogger on WWW.
He blogs on Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community Forum and Scared Monkeys Discussion Forum discussing this case
Both sites revealed photographs taken by JJ linked to his personal website

Some of the photos showed areas searched near or on Suburban Dr
The State has listed JJ as a witness.
State and Defense consider JJ a crucial witness to this case
Defense is seeking any and all photos related to this case in JJ possession and the production of all content posted on the worldwidde web by JJ regarding this case
The items sought by this application cannot be obtained through normal discovery under Rule 3.220, Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure.

"I remember that Joe Jordan was searching with a group of people and he found discarded clothing. He took pictures and posted them here at WS, which we then compared to pictures of Casey wearing similar clothing. I think it's these pictures, which Joe Jordan posted here at WS that are in question by the defense. But Jose Baez is wrong when he says that the items that Joe Jordan photographed were from the site on Suburban Drive. The pictures were taken of items found in or near J. Blanchard Park. Joe Jordan photographed the items and called LE who came and retrieved the items. Joe had pictures of LE putting several bags of things in the back of a police car.One of the items was shorts and top set that looked very similar to one Casey was wearing in one picture. There was a lengthy thread here at WS on this subject, but in the final analysis, we determined that the shorts and top set was not the same.....only similar. It would appear that JB is going after "evidence" which has no bearing on the case. What Joe Jordan photographed was discarded clothing in J. Blanchard Park, which is not related to this case."

No one is immune to "investigation" and speculation by the Defense..

The motion was filed last week, it was released by WFTV on Friday, the motion to strike and motion for protective order is new from yesterday.

A little off topic. This hearing is just great. Baez is sanctioned because he is too lazy to do the work that this case requires and felt he would get away with his ridiculous e-mails to the State on his experts. So now, nothing that he does not mention in his report will be allowed at trial. He is beyond lazy, beyond stupid. All he seems to care about is that ridiculous sign that he has outside of his law office with his name on it in gold leaf or whatever it is.

I also love the fact that Cheney read one of the bloggers posts on his not being prepared and calling him an idiot - Perry genuinely laughed at that one.

Defense is batting a zero. And Judge Perry has his all knowing Rule Book out for every decision and is so prepared. Baez sounds like a 14 year old explaining why he didn't have his homework when he was asked to explain why he did not ask for an extension and simply disregarded the due date for the affidavit he was presenting.

So, the appeal they are hoping for, if it is done as sloppily as their defense work, will go nowhere when the appeals court looks over the court's decisions.

Good work getting STrickland off the case.

IMO - the appeals process for a death penalty case takes years and years and years and money, money, money. Once the guiltyverdict is returned, and ICA is hancuffed AGAIN and taken off to the big house, and when the cameras are turned off and the media no longer takes any notice of this case....there is no friggin' way JB and company will spend one more minute on this case. He will move on to his book deals, movie deals, etc. KC will rot in prison, CA and GA will divorce, and CAYLEE WILL BE VINDICATED.

I know this is off thread, but IMHO I really, really don't think JB would give one crapola about his reputation. It's already in the crapper as far as I can see. MUCHO $$$$ vs. crappy reputation....which do you think he would take?

I don't think any appeal attorney would allow it to go forward. But I think we both agree on Baez and his reputation.

As we saw with the check fraud case. 30 days after conviction he is no longer the attorney of record. (and I still strongly suspect that he in some way he used that as some form of financial shenanigans in order to mask actual assets from the JAC when she requested indigency.)

This is RICH. And extremely lame and unprofessional of the defense. The reception area is downstairs by the entrance. They couldn't even deliver them to her office?????
