2010.12.21 Stream of Motions - General Discussion

What other logical explanation would a jury accept? To commemorate her liaison with Tony?

Yah, that's as good as her "having no regrets" about eating, say... chocolate! yeah, that's the ticket.

Can anyone refresh my memory as to why these particular motions were decided without a hearing and yet the others (like agents of the state, etc.) will be heard at a hearing.

Was this requested by either side? Must've been but I can't remember.

Todays orders just formalized what HHJP decided in the courtroom, that KC was there for. As much as I truly wish someone on the defense team would go visit her and have a long long talk about reality, at this late stage I just don't see it happening. At least not from JB or CM.

Excellent point. And that answers my question above!

IIRC- KC waited till the very last minute to "tearfully" plea in court to stealing AH money and checks. She also waited till the end of the hall at Universal to admit she didn't have an office.

KC - sweetheart (ugh) you cant wait till they are walking the hall to the execution room to plead. Give it up girl.

From the State's response to defendant's Motions in Limine (as provided by Muzikman)
http://www.docstoc.com/docs/69484725/20110118-SA-Response-to-Defenses-Motions-in-Limine

"COMES NOW the State of Florida, by and through the undersigned Assistant State Attorney, and files this response to the following defense motions in lieu of hearing:" 7 defense motions are then listed.

When addressed at the hearing, I think some matters were finalised but others were answered in this response.

Yes these were all argued in the last motions hearing a week or two ago. KC was present for it all.

JB won the JIb Jab video simply because the prosecution opted not to challenge him on it. They seemed more than a little confused as to why anyone would think that it would be brought into court or why anyone would care?

I think the ones from that surge of motions that are still outstanding are the ones that will require a seperate evidence hearing with witness testimony. CA's "agent of the state" status and the Cadaver dogs will be addressed then among other things.

Do you all think the "agent of the state" (wish I could think of a shorter name for that) motion will see Cindy, George and Lee testifying at the hearing? Or maybe LE? Someone has to give testimony as to their, uh, agent-hood.

I've wondered about that also, and, I SO HOPE that we get to see the great Mr. & Mrs. "our marriage is fine" Anthony take to the stand in the way that only they can pull off !!:woohoo:

Thank you so much for the warm welcome - I have only been following the case since the new Judge and have been so appreciative of the information here - and the motions etc collected by Muzikman. I had thought there would be a hearing on these motions, so had to revisit the documents to find out why this did not happen.

I'm new here but wanted to get my first post done.
I don't know who I have the most respect for- Judge Perry or Frank George. I just know that with the 2 of them + Jeff Ashton and the lovely Linda D Burdick all of us hoping for justice for Caylee are in good hands.

Whew- that wasn't so hard to do.

Not hard at all ~!!!!

Join in ~ Share your thoughts and opinions, a giggle, anything !
It all adds up and is always appreciated ~!!:welcome5::welcome3:

Don't EVER be afraid to ask questions if you have any.

There are members that can give you an answer faster than Baez can spout "this is differant".:woohoo:

And, we are so lucky to have those members here that have taken this case to heart, they know it inside-out, and have access to information that I KNOW has to just chap some a$$ in the defense office.

Everyone makes such a huge contribution in so many differant ways.

You're gonna love it here ~!!!

Ditto - 3 & 4 are too much of a stretch even for the Defense Team to bring up. What other logical explanation would a jury accept? To commemorate her liaison with Tony?
Whoops, better not be giving Baez any ideas....:floorlaugh:

Even if he does try the excuse that it was totally unrelated to Caylee but was meant about the relationship with TL what does that say about Casey? That would be an incredibly stupid move imo. It makes her sound carefree and happy with her new beau and no child.

Joy Wray is the only one who really cares about the JibJab video, it was her ticket to stardom!
