Tape 1...Tommy says everyone knows Misty is lying. Tommy thinks she's lying about Joe. He was on his way home, in a car, couldn't get to her, no way with all the police. "I was told he was supposed to put a knife to her throat and he would kill her", per Tommy. "No way he coulda done that if he was in a car", per Tommy.

It seems like Hank is making up stuff from everything he's ever heard in the media and trying to make up scenarios to take the heat off his kids. I'm not believing a word he says and not sure it's even true that he can't read and write.

Is this the one where Tommy talks about the friend selling dope, and Lindsy says, "Roxies aren't dope, Tommy. Dope is like...crack." I found that statement telling.

Tape 1...Lindsy's tattoo is itching and Tommy thinks she looks good. He has nine days until court, she gave him 25$ and he has 27.25$ total. She wants him to make the money last. Tim is supposed to send him 50$ on the 1st.

Uggghhh. This bothers me. Timmy has 3 children, and I'm sure the cost of living on Cape Cod is not cheap. Sorry your is in jail, but to continually support this day to day talking on the phone is soooo old and so damn expensive.

Tommy and Misty don't seem to think about much more than their immediate comforts in jail. Timmy needs to get minutes on his phone, when are you coming to visit me next, put money on my account, call my lawyer, blah blah blah...........

I heard that tape and agree, not sure which one it is, but I only listened up to 5, but it is very telling. IMO Tommy thinks "dope" is Roxies and Lindsy the nurse (who knows her husband has used these drugs illegally) disagrees.

I think IA with Tommy, pills on the street are "dope", just as much as crack is.

Thank you nas for the updates on the tapes. So these are way back before ToC took his LDT, I don't know if I am going to listen to them, because they are so old they make me very confused. I will stick with S Hardy declaring Haleigh's case a homicide, several person's of interest, but no-one in jail related to Haleigh's case.

Most important I think, Crystal saying "Joe killed my baby." This is the bombshell I am waiting hear explained.

IIRC an unnamed AH source claimed to have overheard Crystal say, "Joe killed my baby" - I seriously doubt these were Crystal's words (out of Crystal's mouth...).

Misty had claimed (I believe in a letter) that Joe had put a knife to her throat when they were in the store. Presumably it was the store where they were both putting up flyers.

Were they there alone? No security cameras, no staff, no other customers? Nobody observed nothing? What about the media representatives who were there? (We know there was at least one photographer because of a photo in PDN.) He's quite bold if he put a knife to her throat in a public place like that and got away with it.
