Apparently they've moved the trial venue to my county - one county over from Catawba. People on Facebook seem to agree that they'd LOVE to have the chance to put Elisa Baker away for good. If her lawyer thinks moving it here is going to make a difference in the outcome, I'm afraid he's sadly mistaken.

Hucklepie, WBTV has reported, under the story, that they made an error. This Federal drug trial has nothing to do with the murder trial. You must have been Johnny-on-the-spot and read this before they apologized.

Thanks for catching that - I wondered why I hadn't heard anything more after seeing it posted on an Iredell County Facebook group! I was out of town for a week and I'm catching up on everything I missed. So there's no venue set yet for the murder trial, I guess? Sorry for the confusion.
