When we went on the Nov search, Yuri was there (he had a cane because of his broken leg), anyway my husband went up and introduced himself...I just could not find it within myself. Surely my husband would have wondered why I had lost the ability to speak all of a sudden.

This Hearing is strictly about her statements being used in trial, or not.

Don't forget that her Written Statement includes almost everything she said at Universal, so there is absolutely NO loss to throwing out all of her Universal statements - IF that happens.

I agree - if this means all other evidence <besides Universal> is allowed in, then we're still good. We still have her written statements, her partying, and a plethora of other evidence. Even her ugly coping is coming in (as far as I know).

Yes, but have you seen how BIG her writing is? She gets about ten sentences on a page with lots and lots of underlining.

Nope..Not when the witness is suppose to be helping them find her lost baby??...However, her lies got exposed, and she NEVER asked to speak to a lawyer..she continued to answer questions....Thats her problem really....NOW IF she demanded to speak to a lawyer..then NOTHING SHE SAID after that would be allowed...Thats the way I see it anyway :twocents:

I am irritated at Lyons - the Baez investigator laughing and shaking his head at Melich's testimony.

Apparently he believes that ALL investigators are as shady and unethical as he is.

Because in his diary errrr mind...the ends justify the means.

How does any of this pertain to her murder charges? They didn't arrest her for murder until months later, correct? They arrested her on other charges first... wouldn't all this have to do with those charges and not the murder charge?

I get so confused with all this legal blather...

Does anybody know who the balder fellow in the blue T-shirt is? He talked to JB and CM after they recessed. He sits behind the defense and he's been shaking his head and smirking whenever the State or a witness says something. Is he JB's acting coach?

Doesn't this seem like a lot of breaks? Will this happen during the trial? Couldn't the Judge have at least waited until Baez was done? Now he's gonna come back after this 10 minutes with another hour of material to throw at Yuri.

I dunno. Seemed like weird timing for a break.
