Just keep an eye out for what Nums24 is posting on The News. She always finds some good ones - you gotta see this stuff for yourself.
I can't wait until 'Beach sees it and comments on it from her legal perspective - and AZLawyer will be laughing so hard we probably won't be able to get her to speak until the weekend!!

Amazing. It is almost like the new business coming from the A's is the State is to blame for NOT calling an Amber Alert. My favorite part of today (even though we are all debating on whether or not it was a smart move on JB's part) was when JB was actually saying aloud all of Casey's lies and calling them lies. Because even though I could not see her parents...I BET they were tripping on the inside. Period. Because all they have done from day one is say, "KC is the MOTY...KC never had any problems with us...everything was fine...no stealing/lying...just truths, mistruths, half-truths...things spoken in code..." Her attorney, in what will either be, a huge backfire or a brilliant ploy by the defense (JB) to get KC's statements to LE at Universal thrown out at trial, was basically saying in open court..."Hey GA/CA, your daughter lies...like alot...so basically should have been arrested from the JUMP and therefore no amount of Amber Alertedness...would ever have been called nor would have helped Caylee...I would have paid actual money to have seen GA/CA's faces as JB ran down her list of LIES...:great:

This person is accused and in all likelihood, will be convicted. What prevents the media from focusing where focus is due? ... on CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY!?!?!?! Why is she forgotten in the media? The only tears that I'm concerned with are the tears that were shed by Caylee in her all-too-short lifetime.

I think we have seen what will likely be a repeat performance from KC put on a loop. All she has to do is cry for less than 5 seconds and it is all the press will report about. New defense strategy...out of the entire day...our client teared up exactly once...clearly composed herself within 5 seconds...also managed to laugh and smile (though it was a "joke" Mason was telling at the time) and kinda punch JB in the arm...but the tears are all that matter? Insignificant tears...cuz her mom that she won't even write a simple, "hey mom, I am okay, love you, Casey" card to, was sworn in. Here comes the waterworks...????

Yikes...no wonder the press is just about as popular as Congress right now. I guess...getting the news right and pandering to the "masses" who aren't at all hip to this case...and gaining sympathy for this DEFENDENT is all those in the media care about. Yuck.

As I watched Cindy being questioned I can see her struggle of trying to walk a tightrope. Cindy is trying to defend Casey, while at the same time attemping to convince everyone that she cares what happened to Caylee. IMO the Jurors will see whose side Cindy is on and it's not Caylee's.

Too much to list, he was pitiful.
The best part was when he was trying to browbeat YM into saying ICA was a suspect and therefore should have been Mirandized. JB - (paraphrasing) when they were at Universal questioning her- so you knew my client lied to you about her job, you knew she lied to you about the Nanny, you knew she lied to you about Sawgrass apts, you knew she lied to you about the old folks home, so knowing she had committed a crime (lying to LE) you let her go on lying ( he thinks YM should have warned her at that point that she was in a very big hole)you did not give her Miranda warning?
YM says blissfully "No". "I was still tryiing to figure out, this is a missing child investigation, why would the Mother of a missing child lie to this extent?
the fact there was a missing child was more important
than why she was lying about all these things'.
So having said all that, JB still didn't get the answer he wanted and in trying to get it he told the world about his client lying and misleading LE at such a crucial time.

Question? And I may be grasping at straws or reading too much into this. I understand that part of being a defense lawyer is to argue multiple conflicting and often questionable things at once. But is JB straying into some very dangerous territory for himself(/sigh), yet again?

My concern is very early on I remember there being some defense lawyers and talking heads who seemed puzzled by just how vigorously JB was defending some of KC's stories. Things that any casual observer could be pretty sure were lies. In particular anything involving ZFG. One of the concerns voiced at the time was that the defense attorney should never declare their client "innocent" etc. Don't they have to be careful of how they present information. While they can repeat what their client tells them, they cannot intentionally and knowingly state as fact things that they know are not true. While Lawyers cannot be held accountable for what they say in court via civil suit for defamation, this is in large part because they have an ethical obligation as officers of the court to tell the truth. By outright declaring in court that the ZFG story was a lie, does that open JB up to anything?

As a side note - If your videos are freezing up - updates windows (don't restart yet) then update your media player -------> then restart. There were update recently that fixed that problem for myself and a friend. Vista users there is also an issue with java old copies - removing them will help. (tools--->add ons--->extensions ---> then keep 6.0.23 or your latest and click the others and click disable --- then do your restart!)

I haven't seen George's testimony but I did see the end of Cindy's
I would have thought that Casey would have taken the opportunity to acknowledge her mother but instead she was purposefully looking down at her papers when Cindy walked past her .
From what I saw on TV Casey didn't look up to acknowledge her mother AT ALL but she was all smiles and chatty with her legal team..

Casey is still avoiding her family like the plague.
IF she truly wanted to see her family, to speak with her family, then she would allow them to visit her in Jail...she's in control of her visitation, she could make it happen.... IF she wanted to...

This Hearing was how long? Approx. 5 hours? The only time I have seen ICA appears to "Cry" was at the very beginning of the video I have posted below? Wow, and that becomes Newsworthy?!?

Contempt of court that I was shocked by (and allowed by the court)
1. CA, sitting in witness stand slumped and calling SA by first name and commenting on "her tone."
2. GA, sitting in witnessed stand displaying the same unearned arrogance he did at the ZGF hearing. Talking back, rolling his eyes, arguing.
3. KC hitting her attorney. Do we have a link to this yet? Why is she not shackled?

Why do we continue to see the court allow such contemptable behavior by this family? This is one of the most infuriating aspects of this case.

And really, is JB's only hope, testimony from the family...all documented liars. Will the judge really throw out serious early on evidence based on statements by KC's parents?
