Casey is enjoying this, smiling...her lips are not pursed and she is not looking angry like when her family members were on the stand

The girl must stop with the playing and twisting of the hair to make sure it is beautifully coiffed.

I noticed when Lee was on the stand, Casey kept her hand and her pen up near her face. I'm enjoying the body language.

My opinion... and it is only an opinion... is that Jose didn't call Cindy to the stand today because he seen what a train wreck it was yesterday to allow them to not see each other testify and that Cindy will have some homework assigned tonight (watch George's testimony).

WOW LA was by far the surprise witness today.. Yeah finally someone on the A team bats for CAYLEE!!!


Anyone else think JB reads here too much and most of this hearing has been proving what a great lawyer he has been regarding ICA... guess he took all those incompetent counsel posts to heart ughh.... So are you all now saying "AHA so JB has been an awesome defense Lawyer.. now i see... now i get it..."

Long day, all i can say is bet it has been much longer for CA

The difference AMAZING. I seriously think she feels more "at home" around the jail personnel. Very striking.

I really have to say this...Somehow these motions are ALL about Jose Baez..and his wounded pride...trying to blame LE for his inexperiences..and lack thereofs~~...MAYBE the whole family realized Jose was truly inadequate and lacked experience..by cutting OFF communications..then Jose whispered pipe dreams to Casey...Listen to me..and me only..and I'll get you out of this..or better yet..HELP you BET THIS RAP!!

This has nothing to do with LE breaking any laws!! :maddening:

Jose is certainly pushing it :crazy:..Judge Perry is going to see right thru this ruse!!..

I was expecting less of LE, I thought he would be as bad as his parents, if not worse. What a nice surprise to see he looks like he is telling the truth. His parents could learn a thing or two from him.

I don't think he's ever been as dishonest as his parents - much less dysfunctional. I was not so happy with his inferences in the beginning but happier with his later straightforward and honest answers. I think he did mislead in the beginning but i don't think this guy does it consciously, only subconsciously, believing any lie, because he does want to get his sister off. But I think he does have some kind of internal code of ethics that his family does not.

I wonder if it's because he's getting married? He's thinking about his future family and doesn't want to be in jail with a wife on the outside waiting for him? Or have future kids have to visit him in jail? CA and GA have nothing left to lose. LA has a lot to lose, IMO. That's why he's being so truthful. He is making sure to protect himself for his future family.

Has he ever totally, outright lied though, in previous hearings or depos or to the police? I don't recall that he has. I don't see that much has changed except he is not as irritated as at a past hearing.

Even Lee said on the stand - and in the video - Baez is in this for Baez, not ICA first and certainly not for Caylee. Priceless moments.

It kpet cutting out. Did he actually restate that Baez is in this for Baez during his testimony, as in he still think that or was just repeating what he earlier said?

I know, right. He seems to be trying to show that LE worked their wiles poisoning the family against him, but all he has managed to do is put forth snippets and innuendo that he was a force to be reckoned with. This has been all about Jose. I don't see this motion being passed.

This is my basic assessment. he tried with some innuendo at first but could not bring himself to outright b.s. the court and state he was an agent. I hope it's not granted. But if they can show that LE used LA under the guise of finding Caylee, and tried to get him to get info from casey by going around her attorney to do so, we have problems. We'll see. I thought Linda Baden did well so far. Gosh, I really need to work but this is all so important and I find I can never adequately catch up!

Now this is only my opinion..but I think CM may very well be feigning larangitis..as He knows full well these motions are rediculouso..and doesnt want to be part of it any more!!..Could be he got the drift of Judge Perry's attitude after that side bar at the end of yesterday's hearing....He knows this is a huge waste of time!

I agree.....and discussed that with friends earlier this morning....if this is how the trial is going to go it will be the most boring high profile case in history!!:banghead:

Okay - Sgt Allen did you attend a meeting in my office and discuss a meeting with ICA's father, JB and ICA?
Sgt Allen - I recall and it was never worked out.
Do you recall I told you this meeting at the courthouse could not take place because I (JB) would be out of town.
Did you tell GA to write a letter to Sheriff Beary
No I did not do that.
I explained to the Anthony family that I -we- could not just go and talk to ICA by herself.
