While disappointed there are seemingly no consequences for JB's shenanigan's (this time) HHJP is an amazingly wise man. One thing he could never be accused of is not being fair. He truly has the patience of Job, in addition to the wisdom of Solomon. He is wonderful!

I may be wrong on this, however I thought they were discussing her testimony today and something was said about her deposition not being taken?

I thought Robins was done Tuesday and Myra's had not been taken. This was addressed in the Kathi B. Motion.

Doesn't matter, imo, because apologising, especially to JA must have really, really, really, really chapped Baez's butt. He probably wanted to sink through the floor. IMO, that's a far worse "punishment" for him than a monetary sanction, or even temp jail time.

So basically no rulings have been made on any of the motions and JB is getting off with nothing more then making a bogus public statement? I think at this point it should have been beyound making a public statement. He should have been found in contempt period.

This apology was all a big joke to him because he got away with what he did. The judge even complimented him on being passiote about defending his client...he is passionate about the publicity of defending this client. I am very mad at the judge right now.

It was a good decision to accept the apology. Ashton must have been in favor of it. They already have another sanction against Baez and the trial hasn't even started yet. If Baez continued to get sanctions that result in money punishments there would be more grounds for appeal (Ineffective Assistance Of Counsel).

Her deposition was taken on Tuesday of this week.

My understanding, so one of these MOO things, is Robyn was supposed to testify at this motion hearing regarding Kathi B being called as a witness for the defense, and the TV stations motion to strike her as a witness. HHJP was able to deal with Baez (with very little input from the WFTV attorney, lol) and have KB taken off the witness list.
