So when do we find out the ruling about the Miranda rights/handcuffs, etc.?

Defense (Ms. Sims) will file written to HHJP on Mon. Ashton said he will respond Tues. HHJP indicated he would rule by Fri.

did Amil give a recap of yesterday? I missed it. Thanks.

I am the only that is still mad that JB got off with a simple "apologize to your friends." tell them you will never do that again, judge". Oh no! not ever again! promise!" I thought this judge was tough as nails? what happened?

Relax manatee, JB may have taken the opportunity to extend an apology this time, but we're just in beginning of the hearing stage. JB will continue with this usual behavior. And, as the time goes by, I think the judge will take a stronger approach if JB continues to just be himself. His Honor will not tolerate any of this in presence of a jury. No, not from either side.

I don't know about everyone else, but I am exhausted after these past three days. I can't imagine I will be getting much sleep starting May 16th (start of actual trial).

Can you believe it? Just a few days over two months and this will finally go to trial. We've been here almost three years! I was a everyday lurker until Dec. 08 when I finally joined here at this forum and I am so glad that I did.

I've learned so much from this forum in these past few years... things that I thought I would never want to know about (grave wax, death bands, decomposition process, etc...), but that I needed to know about to get a better understanding of this case. Botany is still my weakest point, but we have so many great members here who are able to explain it to a point where I can get the general idea. I'm hoping that someone will chime in and explain Dorthy Clay-Sims argument... which I thought it sounded like a solid argument, but I have no idea if it was.

The lawyers who offer their legal opinions on the matters in this case are irreplacable and just... AMAZING!

I can go on and on and on... but I just want to say that I can not wait to watch this trial unfold with all of you! It's going to be an amazing ride as we witness Justice for Caylee!

A bit - it is in the closed hearing thread about 4/5th of the way through - she was probably exhausted after sitting there all day.
The Hinky also has a couple of really good recaps on their home page you might find interesting.

Capri - This has been a loopy  couple of days, but I think the Ashton/Sims stuff refers to the items for Frye. And then JB said he was hoping to get this out on Friday (which did seem to mean ALL the motions, but he was referring specifically to the Frye motions when he said it. I could be wrong, have been, will be again...

Wonderful sentiment and yes it's amazing time has sudden speeded up and we are almost at the starting gate. Bit scary now actually...

But then don't forget all the legal terms we have learned also. Deuces tea come, (two cups of tea?) limes in motion, and apparently when there is Sunshine in Florida, all kinds of documents and videos appear on the internet. I've learned lots of new stuff....

Seriously - I feel apprehensive - not because I question ICA's guilt or the evidence....just....dunno :waitasec:

The only defendant that I remember Jean Casarez wanted prosecuted was Michael Jackson.

Have you seen her discussing the Casey Anthony case on In Sessions?
She has a split personality at times I am sure- when NG is on her attitude to ICA and the Anthony circus is very different to when she hosts the show..

That was such a nice post. I have been here everyday since I did a search on this case on the internet when the story broke. Back then, there was a "Newbie" forum that I stayed in because I was too scared to come post on the big boy/girl board!
I just don't know what I am going to do with myself after this case is over and I can't "come" here every day....:(

No.........you are not.

I don't think that he was sincere at all.

I mean really - take a look at all the times he has been turned into the Bar, how long it took it be approved to practice law in the first place.

I would have thought that the 8yr wait on that alone would have given him an appreciation of what he held his hand.
Apparently, not, IMO.

Today were just "words".
In one ear, straight out the other, no stopping inbetween.

He might "behave" for one or two more times in court, but, he won't be able to maintain any new and improved appearances.
And, that is saying nothing in regards to his snarky e-mails and no reply phone calls.

...IPhone-like typing detected (wink wink - love ya zoey, but I'd recognize that "anvil" for advil predictive text and all the spacing issues from my only very, very, very weird texts/emailss lately - I converted from blackberry, texting will never be the same!)

Is it that feeling you get right before you are about to step on a rollercoaster? Because that is what this trial is going to feel like if these past three days are any indication to how this trial is going to be. Up. Down. Side to side. Dips. Dives. Around and around.

Take a deep breath... and look at a picture of Caylee. It will all be worth it!

We can always start a thread in the Parking Lot - Untreatable Addicts of the Caylee Anthony Case?

Oh lordy, we're doing the dealing already - LOL. When you said Morphine, I had a horrid flashback. After an emergency hys, the stoopid nurse gave me one of those buttons (which I was pushing like every 5 seconds). Unfortunately, she "forgot" to turn off the continuous stream from the machine, so I was double-dosing. Long story short - it almost killed me (as if the surgery wasn't bad enuf). Morphine is bad...bad...bad!

I'll take a xanax though!

Hugs,

Mel
