Asking about Pete's earlier statements about HD being deceased.

PK says most aspects in the criminal side have focused on her being deceased or under duress. Small possibility she was runaway/missing. But at this time more and more time she is missing, the degree of what they do/dont have for evidence, the likelihood of her being deceased is out there.

want to be able to give family hope don't want to be 100% sure and then offer something up to put them in that mode, wwant to give them hope there is a small chance of return of hailey

HD family members were there and were VERY upset, according to reporter. What has PK said to them, what would he say to searchers...

PK says they try to be careful with family, don't say things are conclusive... (me sez: you're not trying hard enough pete!)

They keep hope that she might be out there, but they have to be realistic?

I think he means in this case. They have nothing IMO so they would need that piece of evidence .

I don't even know what to say. I've never heard a man say so little with SO MANY WORDS in my life. He's as bad as my mother in law, and that's saying something.

If I had to give a "too long, didn't read" summary of this PC, it would be: "We have no evidence, no leads, if anyone can give us anything, even just a rumor, that gets things going again, the reward might be open to you. Oh, and we believe Hailey is deceased or under duress, but we can't rule out that she ran away".

Thats how I have been hearing information in this case the whole time. The only thing they have was CP He said it in different ways over and over.

He assumed , would think based on etc.. this is a profiled case.IMO

They cannot rule out she ran away or they would rule that out . People are spending money looking for her traveling etc.. It would be awful for them to keep doing that because LE refused to reveal she was deceased and they have evidence of that. IMO.

I disagree , they are investigating a criminal case. They are building a case to go to court and if they said that didnt think these things it would look bad on a possible court case. Just because they have nothing now does not mean they dont want to find something and they cannot close that door in their case. This of course is my opinion.
