Some media outlets in Orlando reported that Anthony requested the removal of Baez, but Local 6 News has confirmed that the filing was made by a prison inmate in Michigan who has been trying to interject himself into the case for a while.
Curtis Jackson, an inmate at the Baraga Maximum Correctional facility, made the filing.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- WFTV obtained a handwritten "motion" from the Orange County Clerk's Office on Tuesday from an inmate not connected to the Casey Anthony case who appears to be filing it to get attorney Jose Baez removed from the case.

Casey Anthony's trial is still about a month away, but vendors and media outlets are lining up to get anywhere near the Orange County courthouse for it.

Besides the horde of media representatives, food vendors will likely be there. There could also be protestors, and even entertainers looking to get in the circus surrounding the trial.

"I think he's mentally disturbed," Baez said.

Baez called in to the In Session program Tuesday morning, which has covered the court hearings.

“He writes all kinds of things about having knowledge of the case and having knowledge about Caylee and he's been incarcerated all this time,” Baez said.

Jackson wrote to prosecutors in June 2010, claiming he had information about the case.

In that letter, he asked for a quick response because he was up for parole the next month and wanted a letter of recommendation.

The list contains 23 channels, which includes TNT, USA and AMC.
The state objected to Lifetime & Lifetime Movie Network, but it may withdraw the objection if it can see the programming schedule for the channels.

According to the judge only a small number of those with media credentials will be inside the courtroom at any given time. The judge wants to make sure there are seats available in the courtroom for members of the public, reports the station.
