In-Sessions seems to be under the impression that this is leaning towards the defense. What I am getting from reading here looks like it is going well for the state. I just started watching and reading at about 11:00 so I am confused.

I have no evidence of this at all, but I think they my personally feel differently, but In Session is a show so the talking heads are told to lean pro-defense. This way, the get to talk to Baez and Cheney. A win from In Session's POV.

But IIRC, In Session said the 911 calls were going the defense's way too: wrong.

In Session also said that KC's statements to LE was going the way of the defense: Wrong again.

I pay no attention to their "expert" opinions about this case.

I read the ask a lawyer thread here, Hornsby's blog, and watch Bill Sheaffer's interviews for actual expert opinions.

I think the judge is going to let Vass say he smelled death and that is it. I don't think his science is good enough for a death penalty case.

I agree with you and I think it will be enough. How many people will testify to the odor, the unmistakable odor of a decomposing body? CA, GA, LA, LE, tow yard guy, etc. It will be enough.

I think he meant as widely applied as DNA evidence is. He did acknowledge it's importance in cases such as this when a determination of whether a decomposing body was present at any time is necessary. He thinks more scientists will take note after this case and begin further research in this area.

I know. After hearing all this defense evidence....I have chosen to err on the side of caution and stay out of the laundry room while dryer is in use.

Sure it slows down laundry but "what if they're right"? HaHa

It will come down to funding and can money be made from it. How many case could this be used in?

Three hours for DS, under thirty for Ashton. And Mezzo, HHJP FINALLY put a time limit on it! He said only evidence today until 5pm will be considered, WOOT!

I would like to confess, ummm I mean report, that I put 6...yes, 6 dryer sheets in the dryer with my thick bath sheets...AND before I put the last sheet in I put it up to my nose and....yes...yes I did...I smelled it!!!! I am fine..
