I think the state did the depo yesterday, it was halted and defense withdrew Danzinger today. So what he said must have been painful... or totally UNUSABLE by the defense (as in.... being molested by a family member imo).

...from the start of this mental health thing, I have believed the defense was trying to mount a mental health defense under the guise of NOT mounting a mental health defense - seems to be their modus operandi. I think that's why Finnell was so wishy washy in addressing this a couple weeks ago... Of course there's always the JAC paying for it as well (as mitigation)...

Casey maniacal grin in response to whatever Baez said then remembers this is serious business and she's got a lot on her mind so she drops the grin quickly and crosses her hands looking down at the desk while Baez talks behind her to Mason.

Remember how Danziger evaluated her in the beginning back in 2008? Wonder if she said something to him then that the SA office manage to dig up in the depo and it was too prejudicial/too damning to the defense - meaning ICA slipped up somehow?

Or it conflicted with the DT paid for testimony.

DT is back at their table whispering to ICA. HHJP is not back at the bench yet. Baez, as usual has that huge smirk on his face....ICA looks a little bit more concerned. Hands folded reading a blank piece of paper.

You could very well be spot on with that! It might be the reason HHJP is so...er, antimated while talking to them. And then they went into chambers?? That is weird...

Well that would do it to a Judge, if he knew a clients atty privilege was being threaded upon. It's one of those things once you ring that bell you can't go back.

We've all seen how JB has almost rung that bell in open Court. He's such a disaster waiting to happen.

My take........the DT wanted to argue trauma related to sexual abuse. Without KC herself saying there was abuse (she would have to say it in court) the doc was going to be needed to slide it in there.

Both the DT and the SA called the Judge during the depo....so neither side were happy about how it was going.

Now...the doc is off the list, and though HHJP was demanding an answer as to what the expert would be testifying to, we are now in recess and likely a private meeting is being held.

IMO the only explanation is they are trying to use the sexual abuse and are stuck behind those darn pesky laws that prevent it.

Could this testimony have been used in the 48 Hrs show,hence the reason for the jury aquittal? :waitasec:
