Lawyers estimate Casey's trial could last up to eight weeks, which means deputies providing security will be working extra hours.

"There is going to be twenty-four hours of security for the jury and that's going to create some overtime costs for us. We anticipate that cost to be as much as $120,000," Demings said.

A cost tax payers said they don't see the justice in paying.
