"It seems (Caylee's death) was not much of a loss to (Casey)," Allen said. "She continued on with her party lifestyle, with friends, tattoos, shameful behavior in a blatant manner and with a cavalier attitude, as if her life has improved since the death of her child and she is pleased with the outcome."

"I think, at first, the attention was about a beautiful young mother and this missing 2-year-old girl," [Brad] Conway said. "I think it was the cavalier attitude of Casey Anthony that piqued interest initially, but what kept it going was the Internet."

Casey’s Jury Likely From Pinellas County

According to our sister station in Tampa, WFTS, jury selection will likely happen in Pinellas County. WFTS says three independent sources are all confirming that information.

Judge Belvin Perry has a plan to find an impartial jury for the Casey Anthony trial, but attorneys may not agree.

Judge Perry has chosen a county outside of Central Florida to choose an impartial jury.

He has kept the exact site of jury selection a closely-guarded secret, saying he does not want any pretrial publicity in the area, and ordering that the location be kept secret until 8 a.m. Monday.

"The attention on the Anthony case has been going on for a while, and all the statements and all the evidence creates a lot of buzz," said Brevard County Assistant State Attorney Julia Lynch, head of the sex crimes and child abuse division.

"Bottom line is there was a poor, defenseless child. In cases involving children, it's worse when they are hurt at the hands of their mother or caregiver."
Anthony, 25, is charged with killing her 2-yr-old daughter, Caylee. Anthony did not report her daughter missing until a month later, and the child's remains were found in woods near the family home that December.

WFTS says three independent sources within the Pinellas court system have all confirmed that information. This came the same day as the St. Petersburg Times reported unusual activity at the Pinellas County courthouse that indicates court officials may be preparing for something big to come.

Officials say Casey's trial is expected to last roughly two months, possibly even longer.

According to the ABC affiliate station in Tampa, WFTS, jury selection might happen in Pinellas County.
