HHJP: it is best if you don't do it.

Juror: yes.

HHJP: step out in the hall. don't go anywhere.

okay.

HHJP is asking if CM would like to move closer so he can hear.

Geez...Baez just interrupted the current prospective lady juror saying Mason could not hear. I just hope that isn't going to be the case throughout trial -- does Mason wear a hearing aid. Judge Perry just suggested that Mason move closer so he could hear....

HHJP suggesting CM move up into a closer seat so he can hear

What was the number of the first juror?

  • #645
I'm out of the office now...this is more interesting than I thought it would be. I really want to rewatch the part where he read the charges...I caught part of that earlier.

Hmmm....what is a Mason to do...

Move away from casey?

Or hear court testimony?

Hmmmm.....guess hearing aint so bad after all...

  • #647
Oh I do hope Mason's hearing issues don't slow this process down.

Last time I looked, ICA is not black, why the concern :maddening:

because historically black jurors tend to be more suspicious of LE and are a lot less prone to vote for the DP.

I don't think this women is particulary Defense Favourable.

Mason can't hear, oh boy.

You know, he was told in open court over a month ago that "real time" would probably NOT be available.

Did he bother to upgrade his hearing aids? Nope.

If he is so deaf, he needs to recuse himself at this point. Or send his plain Jane legal assistant out to Walgreens to get that bunny eared device for old people to watch TV with so they don't have to blare out the speakers.

Defense objects to her being excused... wow

Second potential juror excused, over the defense's objection!

  • #653
Whoa, whoa, whoa, why do we have repeat the last 5 minutes of question for CM?? If he's that decrepid or however you spell it, get him out of here. Dear pete he's wearing thin on my nerves.

  • #654
judge noted defense objection... but excused the juror

Go HHJP.

Mason has enough money to buy a decent hearing aid,I am sick of "I can't hear from CM" :maddening:

:twocents: UMMMMMM perhaps another "delay" tactic, 'specially since ALL the others SO FAR have F A I L E D! :great::great:

Second potential juror excused, over the defense's objection!

What? I am confused. I figured they wouldn't want someone who actually loves their father on the jury...weird they objected!

Oh I do hope Mason's hearing issues don't slow this process down.

IMO that's EXACTLY what he is hoping to do. :loser:

It's a stunt IMO.
