All of these jurors and their animals!

I love it! I can imagine Casey is sitting there saying to herself "what? your dang animals are more important than my life?"

The potential juror is thinking in the back of their minds that "heck yeah, I'd rather be feeding my birds than sitting in the room with a wacko"

All of these jurors and their animals!

Many folks have pets and those with no family would be hard pressed - I don't know what I'd do if DH weren't around for 8 weeks.

I heard one person say something about their neighbor could mow their lawn for them if they needed to but I bet none of the other people that live alone have even considered what their yard is going to be like after 2 months of neglect in the summer. Even in FL the grass will need to be cut a couple of times.

I agree also. A young mother who has to delay her education and thus delay entering the work force in her profession? That is a hardship in my opinion. No one should have to repeat classes and wait to graduate because of jury duty.

Judge Perry wants a shot. :floorlaugh: Just kidding, he must need some water.

My religious beliefs require Jennifer Lopez to give me a lap dance. Should the judge honor that as well?

It's your civic duty to serve on a jury. Suppose you were the accused - would you want people like yourself on the jury (assuming you're innocent, of course)?

:great: Post of the day!

  • #1,593
I liked her. Glad she is at least through until the next round.

yes, I just wonder how much she would resent putting her education graduation for five months.

This current guy sounds stoned. And apparently has never been to Orlando. HHJP tells him he will have a couple of play stations he can use! :)
