2011.05.09 - Jury Selection Day One

This trial starts next Tuesday per HHJP! That is the 17th! That is my 47th birthday! :great: What a wonderful birthday gift!

well yes....yes I have---the while my dad was dying...only thing I could fnd---did get massive nose bleed.....they are rough

HHJP: the lawyers will begin to question you. we will bring you in individually. this trial will start next week in Orlando on tuesday. will last six to eight weeks. we will ask if you will have hardship because of this. the questions that will be asked will be do you have any prejuice because of a past experience, or the attys, or the court and trial. these questions are not meant to embarass or pry into your life. it is your duty to answer completely and truthfully...

Her crying in front of the jury is a double edged sword.
They can either pity her or think she is crying because of her guilt. Either way, imo, she should not be expressing any emotion at this time.

HHJP did say the trial WILL start next Tuesday in Orlando. Now talking about the Guilt phase and the Penalty phase.

I think it was Amil that overheard CA say she had "better things to do" when HHJP was intructing everyone to be in attendance by 0830...

HHJP just said something the jury could do that would "cause a mistrial." If you are not excused because of hardship you will go home and then come back.

ICA is accused of first degree murder. this will occur if necessary: one if the SA has proven beyond a resonable doubt...should she be found guilty a second phase will be commenced. you advisory on this carrys great weight on sentince, if we get to that. it is rare the court would give another sentince than what the court would give ICA.

if you are religious or .... does not automatically keep you out. If you can follow the law as I give it... if you are willing to render a verdict as your truth...

HHJP: giving DP proceedures and if the jurors can be on a DP case.

My son did that too. All kinds of odd electrical/lighting tricks with me and his friends for about a year. It's Caylee.

When my father passed away, lights flickering on and off also happened for a month or so. Lights that NEVER did that before. Very curious indeed!
