Does anyone have a running tally of the ones that were not excused for financial hardship? I was gone for most of the morning so I haven't gotten a chance to watch much. Just wondering how many possible jurors there are.

They are going to work through to number 66 because it would take until 9 PM to get through all of them. They will stop at 66 for the day.

I think they're going to need a lot more than 110 to decide through. They'll be lucky to find 20 jurors out of 110 that can take 2 months or more away from they're lives . . . plus, they can't have any other issues with dp or have an opinion about the case . . . This will be tough.

As I suspected, many are stating a financial hardship. I wonder how many of those dismissed for financial hardship would have been qualified otherwise - unbiased, can put aside anything they've heard and judge the case on the evidence presented, and are not opposed to the death penalty?

I think the length of the trial is going have an impact of seating a jury.
