I listened to insession and heard the potential juror ( the young man who went on and on about his life history) and heard Baez mention sexual assault. I never heard a thing about childhood sexual molestation, but also fell asleep it was so boring. It seemed like the defense might be going to claim that casey had been brutally raped in the past. Casey had told Jesse that Lee had made a pass at her while he was drunk, but then again, she'd also stolen from Lee and his roommate and wanted Jesse to go against his religious teaching and live in sin together. It's really too bad that all the big mouths went on tv shows blabbing all this stuff to the public a long time giving ideas to the defense. They know that everyone has heard it all. People gossiping and thinking only of their own bad feelings towards Cindy just may get Caylee less justice and less punishment than a male would get, which is not fair.

Actually the sleeping in a bra thing is one detail that leads me to think she may actually be telling the truth about the abuse. Many abuse victims sleep in many layers or even fully clothed. It's like a line of defense against their abuser.

I don't believe her about the abuse, but who knows. She probably read somewhere about the bra thing happened to someone else and then put herself in the story.

But wasn't she sleeping in her bra before she was abused?....She talks about waking up with her bra over her head or whatever so she isn't saying she started wearing a bra because of it - isn't she saying it happened while she was wearing a bra and that's how she knew it happened?

ty ynot, was posting that because it was the question posed on NG, but the link is handy nonetheless.

Caller wants to know who is paying for the DT. Answer: the State. NG producer also answers approximately $200,000 in fees so far.......

The End.

I just will always go back to GA. Show his jail Princess videos, show them all!!

CA & GA have always been more afraid of Casey then she ever could be of them.

So much proof of how dumb of a theory this is.

i so agree and after what she has done to her baby so they should be, they are cattle fodder to her if she can dispose of her own child well......

I am also one of those who think the initial searches for chloroform were for mom or pop or both

she really really resides in KC world akin to disney world ie disney want to work, disney want to look after her baby, disney want to spend the rest of her life in jail.

(disney/disnae slang for doesnt :)

Oh great my tax $$ per NG show is up to $200K on this case, also paying for ICA room and board paying for the wife of a serial killer that is tied to this case and his (the serial killer) room and board.
How much more can I take????

I always sleep in a bra, read in Cosmo or one of those type mags, (years ago) that it prevents sagging.
Did it help? I think so.
IMO

I guess it could be the ONE thing she has told the truth about in the last decade, but I don't think her word should ever be relied upon, particularly for an accusation of this nature. She has NO credibility and she can blame only herself for that..

After almost three years, honestly, I would think the fees would be higher by now. :waitasec:

Very nice collage as Nancy Grace is ending - We Remember Caylee - several different ones - really quite lovely.

Maybe that big 'ol bus ISN'T goin' down "George Street" at all....maybe there's another poor soul being brought into Miss KC's web of lies?? Maybe, who knows, do we dare even venture to guess who it might be??? IF this is what the veiled message in AF's summary of some mitigating factors was implying with the "protect" comment.. I place my bet on CA's brother, Rick....no love lost there....he was pretty vocal about the family disfunction from the start and didn't hold back on other details...like KC's pregnancy, etc....and, IIRC, he basically told CA she was a wacko, as well. He dared to cross the "Cindy" line...no "mistruths" from him!! Just seems to me, he might be a new "victim" in this circus.

Just pure and TOTAL speculation....not fact....just IMO.

The DT did ask a(t least one) potential juror today that had some news familiarity with the case if they had any knowledge or had seen any news on an aunt or uncle of the defendant. (fwiw)

I think Casey is in love with her newly-long hair...
that said, I think she can't help herself with her hands, and probably is not aware of how constant her actions are, but her lawyers should have told her by now to sit on them.

I think she does pretty well at remaining statue-like.. better than I would. I watch for muscle tension when the attorneys say provoking stuff, and she doesn't flinch.. SHe DOES fidget but usually just when waiting?

Heard that too, but after 10-12 hours a day enough is enough go ahead and sag.

And I don't think the lady in the black skirt that wondered in the court room today wears hers at night. LOL

So do I! I just came around to this recently, I soooo think those searches were intended for Cindy, and that sumpin went down during the day or two surrounding those searches, maybe more theft and a confrontation.

I think CA and GA tiptoe around KC cause girlfriend's got a touchy trigger and if she is confronted in the slightest, she goes into mega defensive mode.

For any of ya'll that have seen The Fighter, you've seen Lowell, Mass. My mom's from Lowell and the people there are just as depicted-loud voices! My mom's folks can get the decibels high, so I know loud...and I have not, through all of this, heard CA really, really be enraged and screaming her lungs out loud-She's hollered, as the Tennessee side of my family would put it, but never really given a good ole Lowell scare your skin off, face like a tomato scream at anyone.
What I'm getting at is that I think all it takes with CA is an intimidating scream and curse right in her face, and she'll back down. And according to AnnieD and one of the neighbors (forget if it was JeanC), KC would scream and curse at CA. Much of the time, I don't think CA fought back.

That'll all come out, though, when Lee tells the court about his experiences. but maybe the defense will go after Lee to eliminate that, or try, don't know.

Since I haven't been back to this case in months or read here, I was questioning if she could accuse George or Lee of fathering Caylee, thus being an excuse to have animosity toward her child and being seen as some kind of justification for leading to the murder. So then, the next question on NG tonight answered that. DNA testing confirms that neither could have been the father. Thanks.

Because Casey has always kept the secret of the parentage of the father. She claimed that the father was killed in a car accident, right?

"The Body In the Trunk" sounds like an Agatha Christie novel ;)

I think the big aha moment with sexual abuse is going to be Cindys father. In one of Cindy' depositions she says her father watched the children when they were young. Casey saw the fathers day video of Grandpa holding and loving Caylee and it triggered memories and PTSD which made her do what she did. I really think that video triggered something in her, even if it was just jealousy of Caylee having a loving relationship with Casey's grandfather when she was obviously not welcome there due to her theft.

The "abuse" card (if it works) will get her life instead of death. Fine. Let them go at it. Life is fine. Just as long as she doesn't get out. I hope that this "card" doesn't work but if it does, at least it will publicly embarass her parents who certainly deserve much more!
