The honeymoon is over, no licorice from JB for ICA today! They barely spoke and she did not make goo-goo eyes at him

Interesting that after court ended, all defense team members grabbed their stuff as KC stood there waiting to be addressed....as she was led off, not a SINGLE member of the defense even acknowledged her departure...

BTW....haven't been home long....was Mrs. Bolen in court today?

Did you see her walk past Mr George without even acknowledging him!?

Curt, barely even looked at JB when he stepped up - I wonder if she is peeved about a PJ who she wanted struck - maybe trucker dude was ignoring her or something.

Oh, no Mrs Bolen as far as I know.

Some help here.

So we have 12 so far. But the SA and DT each have 9 preemptory strikes left. This 12 could widdle those 12 down considerably, right?

I have to say in all the years I've watched ICA I've never seen her cross her arms like that - I don't think things are going to well for her in her mind.

I need to see that little play between her and Baez again - boy was that cold!! It was when she came back from the last recess - I'm praying that wftv upload it from that moment but they usually don't.

JB isn't doing his job!!! She probably doesn't care for any of these potential jurors that he was supposed to get rid of! :floorlaugh:

There was some discussion as to whether or not Florida still uses the Electric Chair, Old Sparky, on this afternoons Jury thread.

Yes, we do still use Old Sparky. It was refurbished and reinstituted in 2000.

"In January 2000, the Florida Legislature passed legislation that allows lethal injection as an alternative method of execution in Florida. Florida administers executions by lethal injection or electric chair at the execution chamber located at Florida State Prison."

because she just froze his azz out after she came back from the last recess, she totally would not go near him or look at him in anyway - he was shaking his head in disbelief.

Again today?

Could someone tell me what the "I" in front of CA stands for? Too tired to think about it much! Thanks in advance!

So far so good!
I got a feeling we will end up with a later start than Tuesday. No big deal though.

Considering they are only at 12 with a combined total of 19 strikes left I don't think we will start at all next week.

This long drawn out progress on multiple & individual one-on-one rounds is taking way too long. IMO

I am starting to feel like like 1119 "I rather saw my leg off"

Looks like we will have a big week ahead of us next week. I hope every one of you get some much needed rest tomorrow.

I is for Inmate. It is to help us differentiate between Cindy and Casey.

ICA frequently appears to be stifling a smile. IMO, she's enjoying this whole thing, since she believes this trial is all about her, not her daughter.

I don't think Ms. ICA is happy with her new accommodations. Wants to go back to her homeys in Orlando. Maybe she blames JB for asking for a change of venue.

Does anyone think that there will be no backstrikes from the DT because they are sick of ICA already and just wanna get it over with? LOL

We can only pray..........:prayer:

I don't like them giving KC the cold shoulder-- smacks of some kind of ploy to me.

I missed that!

Questions: Who decides on the number of people on the jury and the number of alternates? If the Judge decides, can he now change the number of alternates to say, four or six? Also, are the alternates sequestered also?
