Great, great opening, imo.
JB needs time to set up something for his opening. Is he going to bring in the big easel again? lol

He's gonna need to bring something...clowns, bells and whistles perhaps.

Loved loved loved the way Linda DB took her Opening Statements right up to lunch break for the jury - so it can really settle in with them, all those powerful statements will really sink in before Baez gets up to do his.

"Caylee's death allowed ICA to live the "Good Life". Motive presented.

VP saying that JB says all that they just laid out will be explained in the first minute.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

OMG I needed that laugh. Yeah, good luck with THAT buddy. What you say in a minute is not going to undo the last two and a half HOURS!!!!

Today is truly Caylee's day. Her story is being told, and after 3 long years she has a voice. Her voice is that of the glorious LDB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LDB is truly my hero. She stands firmly sure of the truth. She is prepared and dialed in. She is fighting the good fight for our sweet baby girl. God bless little Caylee Marie.

Anyone think that some of those searches in March may have been meant for GA/CA? As in, the initial plan was for ICA to get rid of her parents?

HLN saying court resumes @ 1:10 pm and by 1:11 we will know what DT is going to say. JB is supposed to give the whole thing within the first minute!!!!

Wonder if that very moment WS can keep up . . . Adnoid has been phenomenal! WS'rs have been very good (at least that I have seen). Mods are right here doing their best and I am thankful. Most of all, hanging with my peeps . . . no one in RL understands me in my obsession with this case either.

IS is pointing out how there were NO TEARS for Caylee from ICA.

LDB did such a nice job putting all the facts out there in a linking, systematic and chronological way. This is the first piece of duct tape that'll seal Casey's fate, imo.

I'm telling you all, she deserves a standing ovation for her opening statement.

It got all of my emotions from crying at hearing about Caylee to anger with what Casey did to her, and even a bit of happiness of how much adorable this child was.

HLN showing the F word clip but bleeped it out.

I wonder how hungry the jurors are?

VP saying that JB says all that they just laid out will be explained in the first minute.

I guess all he can say in one minute is my client is guilty and here is how it happened. IMO

Is it too early for drinks?

Am I the only one who knew NOTHING about the searches for "inhalation" and "death?"
Didn't get a lot of that info...could it have come from the FBI?

  • #478
KC shaking her head no when LDB was saying duct tape placed before death was pretty telling. It wasn't a "I can't stand hearing this" shaking of the head. It was a defiant, "You have the facts wrong LDB, it wasn't before death" KC has to work on her non verbals cause right now, she's screaming I did it but not the way they say it happened.

Why is she allowed to sit there and shake her head? I thought there were restrictions on that kind of expression.

He needs MUCH more than any easel can display. The man needs a miracle from above. Seriously.

This is the first time I have ever felt any pity for him, but he is in a no-win situation.

I completely agree! I wonder if the lunch break isn't a come to Jesus talk from the DT to Casey, begging her to just cut a frigging deal. The writing is on the wall.
