I felt LDB was very respectful of GA and CA. I think that was brilliant because when they testify and act defiant and evasive as they have done in the past, they will look so bad. The jury will understand when the Prosecution asks to treat them as Hostel witnesses.

IS said one of the officers of the court attempted to take the Teddy Bear from CA. Apparently she was able to keep it if she kept it in her lap. She was rubbing it thru out the opening statement. Are the Anthonys special? H
e gets to leaf thru his Bible and she gets to play with the Bear. Where were these items during the hearings.. Oh excuse me, the Jury wasn't there.

I agree Tsitra! Plus, I love the fact that GA and CA are FINALLY sitting behind the prosecutors' table.

Also, I think Caylee IS in that courtroom. I posted about this in the morning thread too. I bet that bear is a child's teddy bear urn with a special pocket for a portion of cremains. I actually don't find it creepy. I think they are finally ready for Caylee to have the justice she deserves. If some of her ashes are in the bear, it tells me they want her to have her justice.

The weaker dog hits in the backyard are probably where Caylee's remains were resting while KC tried to figure out how to work a shovel.

I think she may have rinsed remains off of the shovel with the hose in the backyard and that's what the dogs hit on. She need the shovel to clean up the trunk.

That is so disgusting! I really really really hope she goes down hard!

Really, I just think she was brainstorming thru her plan and what she needed to complete it.

Yes, I think so. In effect, the prosecutions is saying the duct tape is the murder weapon. And it was.

So much for Defense trying to tell us that Caylee accidentally drowned and Casey hid the accident because of childhood abuse and post-traumatic stress--if that's what they're going to try to pull.

Obscuring another person's nose and mouth with duct tape would only be to kill them.

Why would anyone put duct tape over the nose and mouth of a child who already died in an accident?

Sorry to mention it but I too have heard the possible theory that the tape was placed after her being left in the car a bit to prevent 'leakage'. Then it wouldn't have been the 'cause' of death.

I see it differently: LDB did such a mesmerizing job that is was like watching a movie. You don't need to take notes to follow a well-done movie. jmo

I had pen and pad ready to take notes myself, but got lost in LDB's powerful opening. The jury probably did, too. Plus, LDB did such an amazing job of laying it out, that I'm sure the jury retains the salient points, which are: KC gallivanting: 31 days, party, tat, night clubs, lies to friends, no Zanny - Where was Caylee Marie Anthony?

I bet Baez will start attacking the science. He will promise that experts will come in and disprove the decomp in the trunk, and attack the accuracy of the cadaver dogs, and the 'junk' science of the hair deathbands, and will deny the accuracy of the chloroform in the trunk.
He will emphasize that the state has no Cause of Death, and no DNA or fingerprints to tie Casey to the body.
I do not know how he will explain the 31 days though. I think his only option is fear of her parents.

I had been monitoring it and went over by "one", one! i can't tell you the screams that were coming out of this corner of the world. Anyway, I have you guys and the audio so that is the main thing....but boy was I grumpy for a while.

If Cindy brought the little girls ashes which are placed in her teddy bear, to court, It must be a source of comfort for Cindy and thats ok. When my daughter was murdered by a drunk driver the afternoon after her funeral I went back up to the cemetery and brought up her boom box and played all her favorite rock tunes, and I did it for a couple of weeks at her grave. Its a victims way of coping and playing her music for her even though she was gone, comforted me . Others deal with grief in different ways and whatever is best for them. If Caylees ashes are indeed in the bear then let Cindy hold them Close to her heart. Cindy loved Caylee very much there is no doubt in my mind.

I can't imagine and so sorry for loss of your daughter.

The thing about CA is that she still refuses to admit Caylee is deceased so her behavior with the bear is so contradictory.

I took a half of sedative before DF comes on and gives their opening statements. If I did not I do not think I could sit through JB's presentation. There is no way in He!! that he will ever come close to topping the SA opening statements. Not looking forward to his gum flapping at all.

ITA, I don't think GA & CA are going to behave well with his presentation.

I always felt that KC found out or became interested in chloroform when one of her male friends (IF i recall correctly) either post on fb or emailed a photo of a man chloroforming his date and the group of friends thought it was funny. I think it sparked her interest and she began to make it and use it to keep Caylee asleep or perhaps she made it and used it on her for the first time to kill her.
