The defense has put themselves in a precarious position, imo. They have shown the lying underbelly of their client; they have admitted that she knew Caylee was dead yet chose to lie to law enforcement about it.

The have done exactly what the many talking heads warned them not to do: they tried to promise to deliver a bombshell of surprises that was shot down with the first witness.

All they have managed so far to do is paint their client a darker shade of black.

What they did was place their client at the scene of the crime and at the time of death - big no no apparently. But there you go - ICA is telling them what to do and they are doing it.

Baez approached this all wrong. So much unnecessary stuff. All he had to say was there was an accident she did put her in the trunk was scared of her parents bc they were so controlling. He could have even explained the searches as being meant for killing her parents. But damn he went way overboard.

Baez, imo, told her what was coming before the trial opened.

(thats based on her emphasized cautionings on air about Kronk, and how she just couldn't believe him). Out of all the evidence, b4 the trial, she continued to focus on Kronk, and the trial starts and Krok is the devil. I think Baez told her he was gonna finger Kronk, and her standing up for Baez on HLN smells, to me.

I'm offended.

And who did JB text to say he left Jury selection for a private matter?

I cannot imagine why Roy Kronk would MOVE the body if all he was interested in was the reward. If he knew where the body was, why would he have to move it to claim the reward?

I mean, am I missing something, because "he moved the body to get the reward" may be one of the most stupid theories I have ever heard.

Exactly unless he had some how been told to hold the body until it was completely decompose so they wont be able to tell COD

I used to really like Beth.

Now, IMO she is frequently misinformed, and trying way too hard to have an "in" by befriending Baez.
