Considering when this video was brought into evidence I though it would show Casey buying the infamous blue dress but it doesn't look like it. The next thing I hoped it would show would be the replacement for the WTP blanket but I couldn't see that it looked like that either. I ended up frustrated and disappointed that Mr George didn't ask Tony what it was that Casey had purchased.

If this video was important, either I wasn't smart enough to pick up on its vitality, or it was poorly presented. . . and either/both of those facts make me sad.

I'm pretty sure that Frank George said that video had been recorded on either the 23rd or the 27th of June (after one of the times ICA ran out of gas), so I don't think ICA would buy a baby blanket after Caylee was already dead. I remember some mention of an "All White" party at Fusion that Casey planned to go to, and it looked to me like she was buying some shoes and a white outfit. The whole ID thing is really interesting... I'm wondering about that, too.

I don't think this has to do with stealing her mother's credit card. It's about what was purchased - a Pooh baby blanket.

There was discussion here about the baby blanket that was found with Caylee's body.

I believe it was Cindy who said that all of Caylee's blankets/bedding were still in her room, leaving speculation that Casey/someone bought one to replace the one used to wrap Caylee's body in after her murder.

Cindy would not produce a receipt for a purchase LE found out about, leaving us to wonder if the receipt showed purchase of a Pooh blanket. I think LE already knew what was purchased and wanted to see what Cindy would say.

Remember this was a small blanket for a child - not a bedspread or thick blanket.

To me, it looks like a box of shoes, a white sexy top & a small baby blanket....

LE questioned Cindy about her JCP credit card statements & Cindy wouldn't oblige.

The one thing that stands out to me is ----> I bet there is more footage. Note that when KC comes to counter no bags (purchases) and when TonE joins her he has no prior purchases either........so...........will there be more video and will it be clearer? They each had several bags when they left.

My memory is a little fuzzy but, I think it was reported by CA early on that one of the laundry bags was missing from the garage, then later on they found a new one still in the package on a shelf.

There is a good reason this video was held back from the public, and it is obvious that it will not go well to the defense.
For some reason I am thinking that there were more trips to Penny's. Am I remembering correctly that it came from Lee's list of receipts he found? If so, then there are more video's I am assuming.
Cindy said she checked those statements and nothing was there. Something HAD to have been there for her to give Yuri such a hard time about it.

I firmly feel that there is something more to this JCPenny's video, and when it's exposed, it will be a bombshell!

Most likely in a package too. Adding to it being hard to see in the video if it was set on the counter.

Fake ID and stolen credit card, maybe, but can the state introduce that in a murder trial without it being brought up before this? Now if she purchased something to substitute for something else used with the body...okay? Unleash the lawyers!

I'm thinking they're using the video to prove Tony was with Casey, therefore, he's a good witness to her demeanor and her state of mind during that crucial time. Also maybe she purchased something telling.

Also, I thought they said the video was from June 27th, the day she dumped her car at Amscot and Tony picked her up. He said it was a Friday and he had to be at Fusion that night. I'll have to watch his testimony again later.

ETA: Thanks to Katana, above post # 29, it does sound to me FG is saying it was June 27th.

TonE testified today that it was the day of the 27th, awhile after he picked her up at Amscot but before they were going to Fusion that night. FG then shows a photo from that night and ICA is in the black dress, standing in front of Tony (he's in a black shirt), she's in a black, low cut dress wearing what looks like rosary beads for a necklace. She is grinning like all get out, and even though that was always ICA's MO in pictures, this smile was HUGE and she actually looked the most beautiful I have seen her look in photos from around that time period... she almost looked radiant (don't throw things at me). That is what is absolutely so frightening about that picture in particular from that night! The deed was finally done Caylee was out of her car, and in the woods, and her car was ditched for the time being (maybe hopefully always).

What I see in the video is a black high heel being handed to the cashier (probably the pair she wore that night to the club) and the large, square white thing on a hanger looks like when they put a small blanket on a hanger (they do it at places like Marshalls and TJMaxx) in the still shot it is way too large in circumference to be either a tshirt, a dress, or even a skirt. ICA is way too little in comparison. All MOO.

I'm guessing we'll find out at some point... it cannot be innocent, whatever the story is, because of Cindy's behavior and the fact that we have never seen it before, again MOO!

That would be a bombshell if it is a Winnie the Pooh blanket. There is a reason we have NEVER seen this video and why they introduced it within the first 5 days of the trial.

I think there are other things we haven't seen/heard. And I do think it was shown to TL today to establish that it is him and Casey.

I also think they knew about this before they asked Cindy if she had the receipt from this day. They knew about it and wanted to see if Cindy would cooperate, and she didn't.

Whatever was purchased we know that YM was very interested in it- when he asked CA for her statement he knew there was something incriminating on it- otherwise why would they care that much that she was using fake ID or CA's card, and why would CA avoid showing it to him when asked more than once for it? There was something important bought at JCP.

It does appear to be a blanket! I cant really tell, but it is thin, white and squared shaped. Doesn't look like any clothing items, IMO.
