Just got home after spending all morning in the ER with the husband. He thought he was having a heart attack - thankfully turned out to just be a really bad episode of gastritis, which he's never had before. Heck, he almost gave me a heart attack.

So I missed the morning session but will go thru the prior posts in the morning session thread - thanks for your posts everybody!

Please tell me you didn't try a receipe from the Receipe thread that brought this on . . . .

beth thinks sunny is making great points about JB fairyland defense, how good it is,

its plausible

"there is something not right in that household"

she parrots JB words.

disgraceful.

IMO, it is likely ICA's practically living at her BF's house did bother the last witness.
That's very common with young women of their age. Has nothing to do with whether or not she is more attractive than ICA.
Not a big deal, but she didn't want to admit it.
Would not sway me one iota as to ICA's innocence.
However, IMO, witness was not credible.

Again, MOO.

I can't see any reason to doubt her truthfulness unless something comes up that does just that.

sunny hostens (of course) thinks maria's testimony was effective for ica

she is buying jose's theory of

sexual abuse is why ica enters a hot body contest 4 days after her daughter drowns

Sunny is usually pro prosecution.I think this HLN team of talking heads have been given roles to play out.

I guess they aren't comfortable calling it like it is,or they would be accused of bashing the defense.JMO

IIRC she couldn't remember

Well, she was certainly around when Caylee was known to be alive... so, that's good. mo

What I don't understand about the defense saying it was Cindy who left the ladder down is that both Cindy and George have stated that the ladder incident happened on June 17th, 2008. JB has already admitted that Caylee died the day before so how does that ladder incident connect to Caylee's death??

Is it too early to start drinking?

Wow - just took a minute to watch the news thread of Baez and Mason entering the courtroom this morning - couldn't figure out who the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 was Baez had escorting him but Baez's behavior and language were appalling - especially for a lawyer!

Cherry - I'm so glad your hubby is ok!

I'm off to go bake my sons birthday cake and go out to get some more decorations to have up for when he gets home from school! (Still can't believe my baby is 7!)

I hope I'm back before TL is up!

:blowkiss:

If it was after June 16th...that bothers me.

The state brought up the trip in the car. I think they know one of the next witnesses knows the date and that is why they left it up to Jose to ask about the smell. Let it appear Jose had a score with the smell questions and then show the jury he did not.

Asking again if anything of significance (that we don't know) came up in Clint's testimony. I had to leave the house for a bit.
TIA

It's noon in metro-Detroit. Do ya think it's too early for me to open a fine bottle of wine?

Heck, I don't think it's too early to open a cheap bottle of wine. Gonna be a long day ya'll.

I would think there is something "not right" in the households of most murderers.

JB is playing for LWOP. He had to come up with something and this is all he had.

I thought it was funny that Mason pulled the "Senior Citizen" card. LOL LOL

when did George testify yesterday?? I have yet too see any footage on that....he actually sat in the witness stand yesterday??? or is this just threw the SA that he testified...??? confused..

He was on the stand. He was the first witness. I think he did a great job..a few hold your breath moments...wondering if he was going to side with ICA or tell the truth for Caylee and he did the latter

Oh thank you!! I hope you are right!

He'll say George and Cindy are lying. Which means Cindy knows what happened. I guess George convinced her the drowning was her fault, too, and she would go to jail for child neglect? Interesting to see if CA goes along with this version....
