Mr George should have objected again forcefully about the Caylee drowning in the pool and those guys being present. Whats wrong with the State not objecting???? There is no evidence Caylee drowned and yet Baez is allowed to state that as if it were fact. That needs to stop.

I disagree, he can ask whatever he wants. Attorneys are not testifying under oath, they are asking questions. It is up to the witness to deny whatever he is insinuating.

This is the same thing as opening statements not being evidence. JB can say an alien from Mars crashed on Earth but it's not evidence to the jury.

I'm really having a hard time with JB being allowed to ask that question about if they were in the house when Caylee drowned. It's not even hearsay that she did.


State should start asking if they were told that Caylee drowned or if they were told that she was dead. Are they just going to ignore this the whole trial?

IMO that would be a bad move if the State started delving into the drowning theory. If the State asked that question, it may lend credence to the theory, in the eyes of the jury.

For those reading at work, the jurors do have screens at about knee height, but in order for the jury to see a picture on their screens it must first be admitted into evidence and then "published".

So just because a picture is up for the judge, there may be discussion about it, the jurors do not see it until the judge approves it to be entered into evidence.

Even though JB went on record as objecting to the Fusion pic, the jury got to see it.

It seems the SA should be allowed to ask "Were you there when ICA applied duct tape to her little girl?" in return.

I think JB's questions of Casey's demeanor of being 'normal' during that time period works more for the SA than Defense. If Caylee had actually drown she would have been distraught, or at the very least, not 'normal'.

I don't understand this whole trial. If Caylee drowned in the pool, why is there even a trial, the DT has admitted KC knew Caylee was not missing, the DT has admitted KC knew Caylee was dead, so just what is this trial for????

It's for Jose's benefit... not Casey's. Also, there is no way the State would believe the story the defense concocted. Casey would have to tell the truth!

The State ought to start asking everyone if they were present when KC wrapped duct tape around her baby's face.

So clever on Baez' part- can't prove a negative... hope the juror's listen to the evidence and don't get led down this false path of 'reasonable' doubt. A reasonable person will still look at the totality of evidence and see what KC truly is. THe Blockbuster video should be huge for them. To see a supposedly 'good' mother out acting like that hours after her child supposedly drowned in a tragic accident cannot be explained away by claiming she is a sexual abuse survivor used to living a lie.

And if there is NO EVIDENCE of how she died - which the DT are insistant on - then HOW CAN THEY KEEP SAYING SHE DROWNED?

I do not get it...

I am just guessing here, but I bet the state can't object to the drowning question because even thought there is no evidence that she did indeed drown, there is also no evidence that she didn't. No COD means anything could have happened.

From these two guys speaking Casey cooked did some of their laundry etc. Sadly on the videos of Caylee she never spoke or engaged in conversation with her she made time for these guys but couldn't make the time to engage with Caylee.. :sick:

I think it was Beth Karis who said this morning that she noticed when JA asked George if he molested KC, George put his head down and said no. Christi Paul agreed with her. Guess that's a sign of deceit..

I'll have to say when I first heard a while back she claimed sex abuse I thought that could be true but lots of peeps have been sexually abused and they don't murder their kids!

I guess that JB is going to ask EVERY witness that the SA calls if they were there at the A home when Caylee drowned? Seems he wants to really plant that seed about her drowning.

I have a question about this. Can the state object to him putting the question this way? I mean there is no evidence that she died in this manner so shouldn't the state object? I would think he should phrase it "were you present in the Anthony household on June 16th" but not add the "when Caylee drown in the pool".

Doesn't make sense to me for JB to say that ICA knew Caylee was dead from the beginning.

If she knew that she drowned before she started living with TL then why was so so happy.

ok - a bit o/t when the camera focuses on the eagle during recess all I can think of is the "Eagelman!" commercial from years ago.

As for ICA, that little pouty moue (as I've been describing it)appears to be starting to etch lines in her face and that reminds me of the character makeup used in a famous movie staring Charlton Heston that involved simians. IYKWIM
