Yep, Jose never deposed her - that was discussed as an oopsy in trial today. So he's going to do that now, therefore the suponea.

It is my understanding that the Defense may issue a subpoena to witnesses that they want to keep on standby to call to the witness stand. There was an issue with this as trial started when Ashton told the Judge that the Defense had sent subpoenas to about thirty people and told them to appear on May 9th which was the first day of jury selection. Baez said he just meant that these people needed to call his office and they would be on stand by.

Amy was added to the State witness list on Nov 17, 2008.

Amy was deposed by the Defense on Feb. 14, 2011 [Valentine's Day].
The Defense requested the transcript of the deposition and was granted it on 4/20/11.

I am an extremely intelligent woman with more education than I can pay for & I have to admit I have had a friend a lot like ICA - one who spun lie after lie & even when I found myself saying "Yeah right, whatever..." in my head, I still loved her & wanted to believe what she said. And she was just a close friend.

I can imagine how easy it was for CA & GA to believe ICA's lies. When you love someone as unconditionally as one loves their child, it's hard to listen to that voice saying "Yeah right, whatever..."

The more I read & watch, the more I want to scream. And cry. And tell CA & GA how sorry I am for their losses - for both their beloved granddaughter & the soul of their daughter

I was watching Tru TV when the comment was made... I even posted a question in regards to what I heard asking others here IF they were watching Tru Tv and did they hear what the commentator had said...

I have never, ever in my entire life seen anything like I did today with Cindy Anthony. My heart was breaking for her. I mean literally breaking. I know I've been hard on the Anthony's and I'll be the first to admit, but what I saw today was horrible.

I hope and pray after today, the Anthony's will be strong enough to get thru the rest of this trial.

CA was an excellent witness today with emotion, sadness, heartbreak and utter grief BUT wait till Law Enforcement gets on the stand and details the run around ICA gave them.

ICA ran LE all over Orlando and fed them lie after lie after lie with made up people, made up jobs, made up travels and made up events. LE will document this incident by incident.

The jury will get the full picture of ICA and her lack of remorse, her lack of credibility and her lack of concern for anyone but herself. Caylee was an inconvenience to ICA and that is what brings us to where we are today.

I agree with you, but if I was on the jury I think I would think CA is gullible.

Hours and hours of Cindy's testimony, concluding with her cowering, her head on the shelf, shaking and sobbing while the third 911 call was played.

CA asking for a break, being helped off the stand by a deputy then held up by someone from Lippman's firm, then by GA. As ICA sat stony faced.

JB's ineffectual cross of Cindy.

Amy H. testifying to all the lies ICA told her, with an unmistakable tone of disdain in her voice.

Today was a major fail for the DT, IMO.

So IS confirmed with the A's lawyer that the DT called the A's for a meeting 6 weeks ago and CA went.He wouldn't confirm exactly what was said .
So now I'm wondering if the A's reached out to the SA's or or did the SA's reach out to the A's?
Maybe I'm just assuming they have met in the last 6 weeks to go over the case.

Vinnie is a former prosecutor and he knows that the way the defendant presents herself is very important to the jury's perception.Most DT's go to great lengths to have their client appear upstanding. Sometimes tattoos are even covered up with makeup.
Vinnie knows that in most circumstances a DL would not encourage their client to wear such a tight,form fitting shirt ,in the presence of the jury. Just another :waitasec: moment about the defense.
Now we know that JB wanted a tight shirt to show how Caylee looks NOT pregnant.

I sort understand why Baez was trying to do - but really - the first day back after a long weekend and a grieving mother inmate shows up in court looking like she didn't make it home to change after a long weekend of clubbing...

Even that red sweater she wore would have looked better than that....

I'll be glad when they stop using the terms: imaginary friends and imaginary people and call them for what they are: BLATANT LIES. Because ICA didn't believe in this imaginary people, she wanted others to believe in them. She knew that she was lying all along. :maddening:

Eiglarsh on HLN just brought up Mama doll being in the car . . . said if Caylee drowned (and Mama doll was always with her), the doll would be in the house not the car. Very good point, right?

But then it got me thinking about CA saying the doll was in the seat where Caylee would be. Is this part of the defense? kc was so out of reality she thought Mama doll was Caylee???

Can't file a civil suit for that. They were likely subpoenaing her to come testify when they present their side.

They are reliving the death of their beautiful Caylee. Most people have grieved & tried to move on at 3 years, but any moving on they have done, it's right back in their face now ( thanks to CASEY) like it just happened again for them. So horribly sad, like a nitemare that never ends!

I also understand their mixed emotions, they don't want to believe their own daughter is a murderer but they also will never forget the hurt of losing Caylee. Maybe this trial will let them see the truth.

Only then, will they be able to properly grieve Caylee & finally move on.

With utmost respect, people who lose a child (normal people, that is), do not grieve and move on. They never move on.

"A" Jeffrey Hopkins does exist, he did work at Universal but was fired in 2002, he was also a family friend of the Anthony's although not a close one I think. "The" Jeffery Hopkins ICA is talking about is Jeffery Michael Hopkins who she said was a different one. Get it???
