Three layers of tape across her nose and mouth and around to the back of her skull. It was still attached to her hair..

I would surmise that someone...not naming WHO...overmedicated her?

Or she just hates clutter? Meaning collateral clutter? Such a mess...with the Caylee dying and all of that?

OR she is just faking IT? WHERE WERE THESE REACTIONS DURING THE 31 DAYS? OH I FORGET, INVOLUNTARY NIGHT TERRORS.

I thought overmedicated also probably why she was so thirsty!

Just caught back up here, and if this question has been posed, my apologies, But, when the ME and Jeff A., were referring to "the" skull, "the" matted hair, etc., WHY didn't they say her skull, or in Jeff Ashton's case Caylee's, each time a part of discussion was referenced? I think Caylee's name should have been said, EVERYTIME they spoke of her remains. Referencing "the skull" etc., is so impersonal and irreverent to her as an individual human being.

Perhaps they needed the jury to view this info objectively. If they had gotten all emotional, they could very well have shut down and not remembered what they had seen. I think it's horrendous enough to have viewed it in a calm manner. They need to remember today...this needs to stick in their brains.

IDK about Florida, but here she would be checked out at the jail, and most likely only receive an aspirin, if anything. It takes an act of Congress for inmates to even get an aspirin here, they are treated as if in bootcamp. Florida is a bit more advanced it seems.

There is usually a Nurse of some kind on staff, they can check her. They are used to seeing this kind of behavior -malingering, attention seeking.

That is what I think is going on. They need to regroup and study the testimony from today and call in some favors from others who can help them come up with some better questions that they have asked so far in cross. This is devastating for their defense so far. They need some help.

Did you notice the female guard that escorted her out ? She had this really "I'm so tired of this little b****' look on her face as she approached her and then she prodded ICA to move.
It was amusing!

The eyes were not covered. The orbits can be seen in the first pictures, Vinnie is just talking about the 'eye sockets' being above ground and clearly visible. He was truly horrified at how much duct tape was all over her nose and mouth- he put his entire hand over his face and said 'picture this'....

Oh Boy. After seeing these blurred pictures on HLN, I am glad I didn't see the originals.

I prefer to remember Caylee the way she was. This is just too disturbing. :cry:

I am confused. When JA was asking the ME to describe the circumferential thing...I thought he was asking about the skull being in the dirt....that it was all the way around the head. I didn't realize he was talking about the duct tape. ARe we sure?
