My curiousity is more along the lines of when she first started stealing. I was taught they go hand in hand. These parents both turned a blind eye to her theivery....why?

Casey did a great job at keeping them split and sparring with each other. That deflected them...but didn't they ever wake up and smell the coffee?...come on now. :banghead:

personally think they were more afraid of the ruckus she would make over the word "no"----she does tend to show anger---I think it was to keep peace in the house???? Who knows----I've seen parents like that--they choose to ignore the obvious....known people whose husband was cheating..they got an STD and the husband said toliet seat--the doc said no...she chose to believe the doc.....go figure that one!:banghead:

OK I know HHJP told the jury not to speculate as to why they were adjourned from court early yesterday...but as human beings with brains...does anyone actually think their minds were not wondering and coming up with ICA tried to make herself  I don't know...even if I had not seen the coverage and been here for these years...after the testimony already I would be questioning her behavior. They have to be.

I was thinking about this last night too! My mind would just skip over what the judge said, unfortunately. But I tried to imagine putting the judge's instructions over my curiousity. It's just very difficult to do. How can you not wonder? Is wondering different from speculating?

I don't know anything about any of that (not sure I should know, either). But curiosity is getting the better of me, so...

I take it there were no medical tests? Was he elaborate in his description of them?

I didn't mean to distract you from the trial today. He made no elaborate description.

If the DT does not want the witnesses to refer to ICA by her name or as the defendant how are they to refer to her then?

The Accused
The Accused Murder
The person accused of killing her child

Exactly as it is what it is....His Honor is a judge, her 'lawyer' is a lawyer and she is a defendant. Case closed.:banghead:

This trial is not going as Casey had hoped, IMO. The State was not distracted by Baez's opening statement, and is trying the case the way that they know it should be tried. It is very interesting to go back and re-listen to Baez's OS, and to think about some of the things that they said during the jury selection. I have a feeling that Baez and Casey are not going to get several "distractions" introduced in at trial, if they choose to try to do so during their portion of the trial.

My DH, who did not follow the case, is still laughing over Baez's opening statement

Can anyone tell me if they saw duct tape on the red disney bag yesterday ?

Robyn was brought in the other day from where she is being held in Tallahassee. I didn't see the article on WESH, but she has not been released. She has been brought in for this trial.

Is she a State or Defense witness? I think it would be a mistake for the State to call her as a witness.

My mind wanders sometimes (yep, it does) and I am reminded on the movie Chicago. All the theatrics ICA pulled yesterday.

Something I was pondering last night (the documentary hubby put in was BORING!)...where did ICA's lying come from? I mean, initially. It had to start some where. Kids learn things from their environment...so who's the liar she learned this behaviour from? CA strikes me as bossy and overbearing, but not a liar. GA, on the other hand...very theatrical (finger family?). Made me wonder if GA has a propensity to lie, and maybe she picked that trait up from him, and then just carried it to a bizarre extreme.

Of course, I don't know GA, so it's probably not fair for me to jump to that conclusion. Maybe lying was just something she tried as a child, saw she wasn't called on it, and just kept pushing and pushing.

Hard to say. But I DO wonder.

BBM

Oh but how many times have we seen CA lying the last three years........I dare say wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than GA. It's not hard to see where ICA gets her behavior for me, she is her mother's daughter.

Good morning, peeps! Ah, we have LATTE.....excellent. Thanks for that! :)

Have to say, I'm on the edge of my seat, waiting for this morning's latest little psychodrama from ICA (aka Lady Macbeth). Sweet Caylee "spoke" to her mother yesterday, and Mommy Dearest didn't like what she had to say. Bless you, Caylee!

I caught a clip of Dr. Drew...he said GA's sister called into his show and told him that GA is also allegedly a liar and wondered if lying was genetic...LMAO...not genetic but I believe might have been mimicked...I can't find the clip...also blames her lying on egregious parenting...JMHO

Justice for Caylee

Well THAT'S interesting about the sister saying GA is also a liar. I can see that. I once saw him talking about Caylee (forget where), and it was incredibly theatrical...so theatrical that it came across as hokey and smarmy. Like the finger family thing.

As for parenting, I don't have a doubt in the world that this girls behaviour got to this extreme because of bad parenting. I don't think she's ever been made to face the consequences for anything she's ever done. But I don't think THAT comes from GA, I think that came from CA. I get the feeling GA might have tried to intervene, but CA really ran that show, in terms of family dynamics.

The Accused
The Accused Murder
The person accused of killing her child

They want her to be addressed as Miss Anthony is my bet! Must want people to show her some respect??
