Yes and no....some of us saw through ICA from day 31. After watching for 3 years, I personally find it totally unbelievable CA did not know exactly what she was dealing with. Funny if it was denial, she was able to turn it off when she knew she would be up the creek with LE if she tried it during the trial. LE has the whole family right where they want them.

I'm also wondering if the lights were coming on in CA eyes about her daughter and that is what made the last few months a little crazy/manic--whatever around that house?????

I had a much longer post typed but I deleted it because I was angry rambling.

I feel this family is really caught up on "appearances" How does this look to others? Look back at those emails that CA had with her brother, she minimized and downplayed ICA's issues. I think that has been going on for forever with the whole family.

Of course then their whole world exploded under the weight of the giant microscope that was placed on them. Now they GA,CA and LA are wanting to be recognized as genuine. Kinda hard to do now. Should have been done when ICA was pregnant.

I know...I had family members angry at me for putting my child inpatient at such a young age. To me it comes down to....a Mother is the person in a child's life that will do anything and everything to give the child what they need....whatever it looks like to others...the child's interests are the most important.

I am sure that she would...but no thinking woman does not see her Grandchild who lives with her full time and has questioned the mother's lack of care for the child and does nothing for 30 days...I thank God everyday that she finally called 911...just knowing my situation...there were probably a million times in ICA's childhood that CA could have intervened and gotten help...her daughter needed it and her grand daughter died because she did not get it. I mean carp CA could have busted her on the theft of money and had her arrested. Gotten temp custody that way. :waitasec: I just know that these personalities do not exist in a bubble and yes you get handed your hat by a personality disordered person but eventually 999999% of people get it....this person is sick.

BBM

I wouldn't say that CA did nothing. This was an adult mother, with custody of her child, she was free to come and go as she pleased. Legally. CA called her repeatedly, got told lies that ICA was out of town for work (I forget where). Was CA supposed to go to police and say, my grown daughter won't come home! And she won't bring my grand daughter home either! Good luck with that.

Now, I will agree that, at this point in time, CA sure should have been questioning whether ICA had been telling her the truth all this time. But, I think denial runs deep with this family. JMO

When a person, even a toddler, dies in a pool they sink to the bottom. I don't know how long it takes until the body floats. That just occurred to me today.

Aqua
Therefore, the fact of the dogs not hitting on the pool speaks for itself. She did not drown, and no reason to duct tape her if she did. Praying for the jurors.

I suspect HHJP abruptly called sidebar just as Dr. G was going to state manner of death was because Dr. G wasn't admitted as expert witness and to remind JA to this fact. We all know HHJP is concerned about appeal issues and doesn't want conviction thrown out on this issue. Makes sense to me that the sidebar was very short. :seeya:

That sidebar was without the court reporter. All of them were looking in the back at the gallery and pointing to someone. It was time for the lunch recess HHJP did it, BUT he walked out the side door immediately NOT standing for the jury to leave as he normally does.

Something or someone in the gallery was distruptive.

I really dislike the "Shed Monster" commercials. So fake! :giggle:

The jury is going to be SO offended by the defense Case in Chief. NO WAY will any of them buy what they're sellin. No way. And when it comes time to talk to the jury after the verdict, I bet they say so.

I am sorry, but the people running and arguing to get a seat in the courtroom-should be ashamed of themselves! This trial is about a little 3 yr old darling and they think its some kind of freak show I am not talking about the reporters

She's dealt with ICA her whole life. She didn't just wake up one day and start this. They knew. Maybe they had decided finally to do something, but I really don't think so.

I'm not going to say anything more on the subject of CA, EXCEPT to say, SHE is not responsible for what happened to Caylee.

IMO

Dr.G was not admitted as an expert witness?

I wonder if, in the case of a (probable) narcissist like ICA, sadness doesn't translate something like this: Oh! This makes me feel bad--->It's not fair that I should feel bad!--->Why are they making me feel bad?--->I don't deserve this!--->This is pizzing me off!

It seems to me also that her lying is part of her defense--to never feel bad. No one can be mad at her or disappointed in her, not even herself, if she never has to account for what she's done.

Just thinking with my fingers.

First in order to do that, Cindy would have had to have ICA charged with theft, wait for the trial, and hope she got a jail sentence, not probation. If she got probation and promised the judge she would take care of Caylee, then CA could not get custody.
You had a case in the States where a murderer who served part of his sentence and was out on probation got custody of his children.
Parents are given every chance by the courts to be rehabilitated. The only time custody is easy is if the parents abandon the child.
Even then it's a couple of years of waiting before permanent custody is given to a non parent.

Yes, yes, yes. I'm so worried about this I've been searching everywhere to see if this is a problem!

Again, ICA was an adult and had legal custody of Caylee. If she had packed Caylee up and left the Anthony's home there wouldn't have been squat they could have done about that. Try to get the child removed from ICA's custody, sure...but that is no simple matter, believe me. And it takes time.

If you are suggesting the Anthony's should have kidnapped Caylee...well...

How could the Anthony's have kidnapped Caylee? Caylee along with her freeloading mother lived with the Anthony's all their lives. What they could have done and in fact did discuss doing was going for custody.

Laci's mother, Sharon, wrote a book...

i am a nurse of decomposition
